Which sectors or industries are surprisingly underrepresented online? We all know books, games, music, etc are all extremely well represented online but are there any industries that aren't.
They may be business to business or business to consumer.
What gaps if any or left. Or is it only niche areas?

This group has apparently been invited to speak at our office for a free "lunch and learn" seminar. On the surface it looks all legit and something our company's HR department set up to promote health and whatnot. But my spidey-sense is tingling the more I look at the flyers and try to find out stuff on the web. Best I can tell now is that this is some kind of fluffy good-health seminar backed by a heavier sales pitch at the backend. Any thoughts? What I've found is below the fold... [more inside]

After posting here several times about my job search and post-MBA malaise, I have been offered an Account Manager position. This wasn't what I wanted to do entirely, but I want to be great at it, so I can move into a position I would want in a year or so. How do I be awesome at my job? [more inside]

Recommend best site or store for Ralph Lauren and Lacoste sales (Men)?
I see almost every Tom, Dick and Harry wear these brands these days.
I doubt everyone is paying $85 for a polo. Any suggestions on where/when clothes from these brands can be purchased at a discount?

What should I do about a jewelry company trying to back out of a sale which I already paid for? I ordered online a small piece of custom gold jewelry this week, paying the price coded into the seller's own website. Now the seller's "customer service" staff has emailed me to say the price of gold went up and they can't sell me the piece at the price I paid. [more inside]

YANML: I'm 25 years and 30 days old. I'm at a bar crawl in Pittsburgh. I just got denied entry to a bar on Carson St because my Ohio license is expired by 30 days.
What is the Pennsylvania law for a bar regarding alcohol service for a 25 year old with an expired ID? I.E. how can I avoid getting blocked for the rest of the evening?
Things to consider: Grace period for expired license, possessing multiple credit cards in my name (to verify identity) and obviously over the age of 21 based on physical appearance.

What are the best online sites for job hunting - specifically technical sales and marketing (software sales, hardware, etc). I got blind sided by a layoff on Monday. I've spent the last two days working my network and now it's time to start hitting the job sites. What are the good ones? I haven't had to do this in about 6 years. My initial reaction is that the job sites aren't any better, and maybe are worse, than I remember.

I'm with a small web design/development team, and for the past three years we've done pretty well almost entirely by word of mouth. We really need to be more proactive in getting work in - we've known this for a while, just never been quite sure how to go about it. I've been put in charge of figuring it out. And of course, how to do it on a limited budget. We're in contact with our old and current clients, and have asked them for referrals. Our local isp sends us a good bit of business. What all should I be doing? [more inside]
