Due to some changes in my wireless plan I have a basically new Samsung Galaxy Five that I need to sell, which is a Verizon phone. I tried an ad on Craigslist and got 0 hits. If you've sold a phone in similar circumstances before, what do you recommend for success? [more inside]

I'd like to sell my desktop computer. I built it in 2011, with intermittent upgrades. It was fairly powerful at the time, as I used it as an engineering student. Specs are below. I'm thinking of getting a Lenovo Thinkpad x230 to replace my aging laptop and noticed that Ebay had sellers with seemingly good ratings offering machines with higher specs than you can get in the Lenovo store for much cheaper. Is this too good to be true? [more inside]
I have three really nice bikes to sell and I'm concerned that if I go via ebay I'll get ripped off, plus I'd rather avoid their high fees if possible. Have you had any success selling a good quality bicycle another way in the UK? [more inside]

I just sold my laptop on eBay... my first eBay sale. The buyer was in Poland. I've never shipped anything internationally. Looks like I can ship the package for about $40. It also looks like this sale might require someone to pay a Value Added Tax or import tax of some kind. What do I need to know about how this works? Do I pay or does he? Anything I should consider in the course of this sale?
Is there a website that tracks the average selling price of used items? I'm particularly interested in used iPod prices, but something more general would be nice too. The price they actually go for would be more helpful than the original asking price. All I've been able to find are paid services for eBay sellers, but they seem like overkill for my needs.
