Is it possible to (successfully) spray-paint a rubbermaid storage tub that would sit outside and be exposed to the weather? Alternative suggestions for sprucing up a plastic storage tub welcome! [more inside]

Hi friends. I have a terribly ratty jacket, called the Quiksilver Rubbermaid. It's about four years old, falling apart, made of rubber but looks (from enough of a distance, I guess) like leather. I would love to replace it with an identical jacket. I can't find it anywhere, these days. Now, I understand that Rubbermaid sent a cease&desist so they changed the name, but I can't find mention of the new name anywhere either. Here's a page with a bit of information on it. Any ideas? (Sites with out-of-stock listings not needed.)
