I have multiple RSS feeds from different websites in Google Reader. However I find that there is a lot of duplication when I go through the individual feeds. Is there a way therefore to combine / group similar stories together (similar perhaps to Google News)?

Are there any web sites where you can enter a search term, and get an RSS feed of new results, like Google news alerts but over RSS rather then email? Are there any other interesting tools out for searching the blog sphere (besides technorati)

Help me get full RSS instead of partial RSS. As many of you might know, the Freakonomics blog has moved to NY Times. They used to give full RSS feeds; now all we get is partial RSS. While this generated quite a buzz on the internets, no solution was provided.

Very occasionally, I'd like to be able to pull a **single** post from one of my blogs into another. In other words, not just link to it, but actually have the post in Blog A show up as a post in Blog B, without having to re-type it and duplicate content. Does anyone know a way to do this? I don't want to scrape the entire feed for all posts in Blog A into Blog B. Thanks!

In Linux, what's the simplest way to take a podcast RSS file as input, and output a file containing just the URLs of all the MP3s enclosed in the RSS file? Difficulty: the method must only Bash + GNU tools, Python or Perl, with no non-standard add-on libraries or dependencies required.

I need RSS backlog management advice. In my RSS reader (Google Reader) right now are 213 subscriptions with 3,852 unread items. I'm really hesitant to dump them all. I've prioritized them as diligently as my current categorization scheme will allow, but I'm definitely open to other schemes. Your advice?

I'm looking for blogs that are focused on linking to good, interesting photos. The type of photo doesn't really matter. Photojournalism and fine art, landscapes, nature, street, wildlife, etc are all great (oversaturated stock photos that look like they belong on inspirational posters are not great). I'm not looking for blogs that feature the work of a single photographer. I am looking for blogs that express the POV of one person or a small group of people about what they find interesting.

I've been running my blog for many years now and it's come to my attention that I'm dead without an RSS feed. I've used Dreamweaver to design and edit the site all these years and have tried to figure out ways to incorporate an RSS feed when I update, but I haven't found an easy way to do that thus far (XO is my host.)
I may be wrong but I think I need to just transfer the whole thing to a new platform like Moveable Type or something like that--is it just easiest to hire someone to do this for me? How would I go about this and how much would it cost? Or are there better ways to do this? Help!

I keep up with alot of rss feeds. I read them at work on my breaks, and then at home before bed and in the morning before work. I would like a reader that will synchronize between the two locations so that I know where I left off at work, or at home. I allways forget my USB memory stick, so having a portable app doesn't work well for me. I haven't found a web based RSS reader that was fast enough, and designed the way I like it, I like to have my feeds grouped into folders, and read them one at a time by clicking on the item and reading the article.
