I've been an enthusiastic Bloglines user for years, and I've accumulated almost 1,000 items that I've marked as "keep new" which show up at the bottom of each of my feeds, waiting for me to finally get around to reading them. Now that I'm forced to switch (most likely to Google Reader), these items don't seem to get exported to the new reader. How can I retain these items as saved when I make the switch, so I don't have to try and read (or delete) all 1,000 of them by October 1st when Bloglines shuts down??

Now that Bloglines is shutting down I need to find a new online feed reader for my secondary (entertainment) feeds. I already use Google Reader for work related feeds and like to keep my two streams uncrossed so I can avoid drifting off into entertainment land. What are the best other online feed readers?

Bloglines is broken again. When it works, rarely, seldom perfectly, even then not for long, it's an excellent service. I dislike Google reader, it lacks, for me, the ease of reading. Maybe I need to try harder. But I wonder why someone doesn't buy Bloglines and make it work. Who ever runs it now can't seem to do it properly. Why doesn't someone buy it and fix it, or why isn't there a competitor that provides a reader that works. Besides Google reader are there any readers out there I don't know about?

Is anyone else who uses Bloglines not able to get their Metafilter feed? Mine hasn't come in for about 5 days now. I've tried deleting the feed and resubscribing... to no avail.

Bloglines isn't showing my feeds anymore! I'm using the most updated version of Firefox, and haven't installed any new extensions, but my "feeds" tab no longer shows any feeds! This started happening last night. It shows the "Add, Edit, Clippings" and the "Extras" down below - but no actual feeds.
I double checked in the "Edit" option to make sure my feeds were there. I disabled all my extensions. I updated Java. I even searched MeFi and the painfully slow Bloglines forum, but can't seem to figure out why my feeds are missing all of a sudden. I checked in Internet Explorer, and Bloglines is working - I even checked it on my wife's computer running Firefox, and my feed show up. What could possibly be wrong on my machine that their feed tree doesn't show up on my Firefox?

Bloglines always shows me duplicates of many Daily Kos posts (even though I have "Updated Items" set to "Ignore"). Is there a way that I can work around this, weed the duplicates out somehow? Perhaps using a middle-man of some kind?

Why does the text to a particular feed get smaller and smaller in bloglines? It looks like a vision test, where each paragraph is smaller than the previous one. Can I do anything about this?

Bloglines has stopped listing the RSS feeds I subscribe to. The page now looks as though I am not subscribed to anything. However, if I go to the add/edit/delete feeds section, they are all listed as though nothing is wrong.

Bloglines lets you see who is publicly subscribing to your RSS feed. But can you also find out who your current subscribers are with Feedster, MyYahoo, MyMSN and Newsgator?

Anyone know of a good, reliable (free) RSS feed for Weblog Keyword Search?
Technorati seemed like the most likely candidate, but they don't currently export keyword searches to RSS. I've found a couple others that do, including
Feedster (a bit slow) and I thought that
Blogines might do this, but they say they don't currently export keyword searches.
What I'm looking for is something as groovy and reliable as Yahoo News Search RSS (example keyword
Metafilter) - but searching Weblogs, not the news. Any/all suggestions welcome - I'd rather not resort to page-scraping.
