This past week, I was in a Chipotle and heard an interesting song. However, Shazam couldn't identify it. It was "psychedelic"-sounding with a male singer (think Beach Boys or The Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows"), but the only words I could decipher were "merry go round". See the extended explanation... The plan was to fly into Mumbai and make my way down the cost to Cochi. I just realized that my visa to India is not going to happen. I now have a 10-14 day gap. I'm leaving Tel Aviv on Feb. 3rd and staying in Kuala Lumpur on Feb. 14th, dates somewhat flexible. Where should I go?
Things to know:
-No countries that require anything other then VOA for a US born citizen please.
-In addition to Israel and Kuala Lumpur I'm also going to Hong Kong, much of Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
-Have visited western Europe and northern S. America on previous trips.
Bonus points if it involves hiking, learning how to sail or involves getting to see the countryside in safety, though perhaps not comfort.

Dear Interlocutors from Ask MetaFilter,
Please help me understand if the sequence of the steps I figure out to transfer my son Edoardo from a private school in New York State to the New York City public school system is correct. Unfortunately the staff of the High School Enrollment Office is very laconic.
1) I have Edoardo's current school complete the "Out of City Request Form"
2) I fax the HS Enrollment Office 2 documents as a proof we are residents in New York City
3) I enter my high school choices in priority order on my "Round 2 and New Schools Choice Form". My question is: where may I find this form?
4) I return the completed and signed "Round 2 and New Schools Choice Form" to my guidance counselor. Here my question is: who is my guidance counselor?

At the gym over the past few months, I have seen a few Asian or Asian-American 60-something women with their backs covered with 1.5-inch - diameter circular marks. Does anyone know what may have caused these marks? Are they the result of a medical condition? A medical treatment? A common injury or abuse? The largest Asian-American population here is Korean. The marks are varying in intensity, so it looks like they occurred over a period of time.

In a can of Reddi Wip Fat Free, which claims to contain 40 servings at 5 calories each, are there really just 200 calories in the whole can? (In other words, are they allowed to round down the exact serving size and/or number of calories, when the serving size is so tiny?) If not, what's the max number of calories that could actually be in there, and is there any way I can find out that true exact number?
