I need to know what my options are for moving this thing, given that I have a negative net worth. Can I roll it into another brokerage-style Rollover IRA at a brokerage firm, not a bank, and avoid the money laundering law stuff? Or am I relegated to Bank IRAs until I'm out of school debt? Do I suck it up and take the $75/month hit until I can start depositing money again (I don't know when that will be), and hope that the investments make up the difference in the long run? I haven't lost as much as most in my portfolio, and I know I have time to make up the losses, the monthly fee just seems like an unnecessary loss I should be able to avoid. [more inside]

Good news! Going through some old paperwork I just found a check for $2,600 that I'd never cashed from 2003. Bad news! It was a rollover distribution from a 401K at Fidelity, made out to E-trade. Fidelity says they did file a 1099 in the year they cut the check. Am I screwed for the back taxes, plus penalties? [more inside]

I'm trying to replicate a Flash menu effect I saw recently. The menu was displayed as a vertical list. As the user rolled over the links, the highlighted word grew larger, pushing the other links out of the way. As they rolled off onto another word, the original link shrank and the next one grew, producing a kind of 'wave' effect. Sorry, I can't find an example. Does anyone know how I'd make this myself in MX 2004? [more inside]
