I'm looking for advice on men's jewelry. Specifically I am interested in ethnic style rings such as: Turkoman, Andaman, Bedouin and similar styles. The problem is that I have huge hands. I wear a size 14 ring. So of course I have found it next to impossible to find anything in my size.

Can you buy a girlfriend a ring without asking her to marry you, when the relationship is already going on for 5 years? Not that I don't want to marry her, but we're just not there yet. So the question is: can I buy her a nice ring and not propose, or would that be so weird that it would better be to not give her a ring at all? Thanks for any insights. For the record, I'm 40, she's 35.

I've got a ring I'd like to sell. It's 14k white gold, about 7g. It's very simple, and somewhat blemished from wearing it and being clumsy and knocking it about. Where would I get the most money for it, and how can I calculate its raw material value (I know the raw price of gold, but being 14k and white...)?

I have a 1 carat platinum diamond engagement ring and am now divorced. It’s a gorgeous stone and I want to do something with it. I’d really like to reset it as a ring (I have a pendant and can’t afford a match to convert it into earrings). Any suggestions on how I can design this without it looking like an engagement ring?

I have to start looking for a diamond engagement ring. I am getting a lot of conflicting information on the best means of finding and buying a ring. Some people in Bermuda are telling me they have found the best deals in Bermuda. Others are saying to go to BlueNile.com. And others are telling me to go to Diamond City in NYC, etc. etc. So......where should I get the diamond, where should I get the band, or should I get them together? I don't mind traveling if I have to. Help me topple the DeBeers monopoly while at the same time making Rachel very happy.

Can anyone help me find a women's ring like
this or
this in a size ten? Steel is difficult to resize, so I don't know if I could just buy it and take it to a jeweler. I tried on the men's version and it is too thick and bulky.

What is a creative way for me (male, 22) to propose to my girlfriend (female, 21) in the area of Atlanta, GA or somewhere in NW GA? I do not want to do something that has been overdone (megatron @ ballgame). I want it to be romantic, semi-private (not drawing huge attention if is out in public), and memorable. She loves art and nature (not this damn heat). I am drawing a blank and need help ASAP!

What secret society does a gold ring with black triangles-- 10 or so of them-- around its circumference represent?
Two of my friends in college (Ivy League) wore these identical rings. When asked about it, they would say "A friend gave it to me," and then change the subject. Rumor had it that these were secret society rings. Any ideas?

I intend to propose to my girlfriend of 5 years. Problem is, we've decided not to buy wedding bands when we get married. And we have no idea what to replace it with.
Tattooing on our fingers was brought up as an idea. (But too painful)
Have anyone opted out on the standard "wedding ring" marriage? What item is a memorable and unconventional replacement for the wedding ring?

My fiance and I have been looking for a unique wedding band design and we really like carved and engraved gold but not the stuff that looks like it has just been diamond cut. We found a really nice 1930's french wedding band with laurel on it
Here.
Any ideas where I could find more designs like this?? We are looking to stick to yellow gold and want something unique.
