Up, up, and away...for something cheaper than my airline flight there

I'm looking for recommendations for hot air balloon ride operators in Albuquerque. I'm going to be visiting relatives in Albuquerque this October during the Balloon Fiesta. I'm thinking about going for a balloon ride while I'm there. The official ride provider (Rainbow Ryders) seems fine, and, in fact, is the only operator that I can find any reviews about online. During the Fiesta though their rides are a little more than I'd like to spend. It looks like everybody's prices are higher then, but does anyone have any recommendations or experiences with any other operators?

I'm not particularly interested in taking off from somewhere besides (greater) Albuquerque. I also don't really care about extras--food, souvenirs, etc.--either.

Some small entertainments for Disneyland queues?

What should I bring in my backpack to keep my 2 friends and I entertained in the ride queues at Disneyland? We're going on Superbowl Sunday, so I don't expect the lines to be all that bad, but it would be nice to have a few entertainments along that I could whip out to help pass the time if/when we do get stuck. I'm really only going to have some snacks and water in the backpack besides, but don't feel like lugging around a huge load, so any suggestions for compact, enthralling entertainments good for 3 persons would be appreciated.

I always carry a deck of cards in the pack.

Looking for ood bike rides for kids AND grownups in San Francisco? Bay Area? I got my kids bikes for xmas, and my wife got me the coolest bike ever (EVER!) and now I wonder: I ponder even (and then I turn to the hive): besides Golden Gate Park on Sundays, do any SF mefites have any other favorite bike rides for families here in the Bay area?

Michigan Travel Excitement

We’re heading up to the northern shore area of MI from Chicago mid-July and want to know about any exciting (safe) adventures like jet boat rides, dune buggy rides, zip lines, etc. that are memorable and “not to miss” while in the area. In the past, we have found some of these experiences are not mentioned AAA books or online travel sites. Thanks!

Seriously, how scary are Disney World rides?

I know that this is a VERY subjective question but can you provide any insight on the terror quotient of Walt Disney World "thrill" rides? I am 43 years old and am going with the SO and two kids (8 and 11) to Disney World this summer. This question is for *me;* the kids are much braver than I am. I'm particularly interested in people's experiences with the Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain.
For an indication of my cowardice level, I provide here a link to something I rode last year that scared the life out of me.
