He's a castaway who'd eaten another guy. He's small so he can't reach the right button except with his umbrella. They're fish and the bowl broke.

I'm looking for more riddles like "the seagull sandwich" and "the guy who goes to work every day, takes the elevator to the 35th floor, gets out, walks the stairs to the 38th except when it rains" and the one where Romeo and Juliet are dead on the floor surrounded by shards of glass.

Though preferably harder and better.

Thanks! And as I can't see how this can not turn into a spoilerfest I'd like to apologise on beforehand....

I need some mind-bendingly difficult brain teasers. I used to tackle these all the time back in high school, and my passion for them was recently rejeuvenated when I picked up Professor Layton for the Nintendo DS. I've been searching online, but all I come across are sites with crappy little riddles and math problems. I need some big guns. If you have any really great ones or know of a site that catalogues a trove of them, please post them here.

Anyone ever heard of 'the traveling game'?

Anyone ever heard of 'the traveling game'? My drinking buddies are playing this riddle-like game that they call 'The Traveling Game'.
The goal is to guess the name of a major city by interpreting clues.

Somebody gives clues.

They may or may not start out by saying, "i'm taking a business trip to..."
Then they list the names of cities, "I'm going to Richmond..."
And they may or may not say something like "stay there for X number of days"
Then they list the name of other cities.

There is some sort of code going on.

Can somebody enlighten me as to what is going on?

There are, apparently, four flowers on a ship. One is the compass rose. Any ideas on what the other three could be?

Riddles that 6 year olds will find amusing?

Do you know any riddles that first graders (age 6) will be amused by? Riddle websites and books that I have found so far are awash with riddles that are extremely lame, or too sophisticated, or rely on outdated knowledge and vocabulary. Here's one decent example of what I am looking for:

Q: Why was six afraid of seven?

A: Because seven ate nine!

Riddle me this

I was told a riddle a few years ago and it's been driving me nuts ever since. Unfortunately, the riddle has become even harder since I don't remember a very important part of it. Since I don't remember it well, it's a two-parter: "_____" rhymes with only three words in the English language. Name them. First, what is the blank word; second, what are the rhyming words. I got two of them right off the bat, but the third one never came to me. Help?
