I may be relocating to Richmond for work soon and have been trying to get a read on where to live in the city. After reading this previously
I wanted to see what's changed in the last 6 years.
The most important things to me in an apartment are: safety, kitchen space, and quiet. I tend to work long hours and like my apt to be the place that I can finally relax in.
Thanks in advance!

This newspaper article
is about me. Basically, I have I PTSD and struggle with depression. I am looking for a good therapist in Richmond, Virginia. I've tried a number of them, but have never found a good match. It occurs to me that someone here might know someone, so I thought I'd ask. I found one recommendation
from 2009, but would like to find more. Thanks in advance...

What to do in Richmond VA? I'm in town next week and I just found out that the Flying Squirrels' opening day is still two weeks away---so no baseball for me--any recommendations for fun in the general Richmond area? I have a car at my disposal and would have loved to see a minor league baseball game. Looking for interesting things to see [or eat] during the weekdays. Preferably no overnight trips. thanks!

I am a male in my 20's, and I get the same things done every time (shirt sides taken in, coat sleeves taken up, or pant legs hemmed up). Does anyone know of an affordable, quality tailor in Richmond? Every time I call asking for an estimate, they tell me to bring my clothes in to get an estimate. I would waste time and money driving all over town!

A friend of mine was given an unidentified sculpture and he has tasked me with finding the name of the original artist. The sculpture itself is large and extremely intricate which leads us to believe that it was made by a well-known artist. The only problem is that there are no markings anywhere. Here is a pulled-back view of the whole piece.
Can you please help us identify it? [more inside]

Bay Area-centric/Bike-centric question: I love to go for bike rides with my 7 year old. She's usually up for about 5 miles, but is interested in going farther and so am I (with breaks). She gets discouraged if there are a lot of hills or if the road is rough. So far the best routes have been on the completed chunks of the Bay Trail because they are flat, paved, pedestrian/bike only (no cars) and have nice views. Can you suggest any other spots for this kind of low-key but long-lasting bike ride in the greater Bay Area? Are there websites or books I should look to for more ideas?
