Is there anywhere in the Chapel Hill/Durham, NC, area where I can just show up and buy (or at least get a good look at) a Thinkpad X60 (or preferably, X40/X41)? [more inside]

Trademarks - There's a forum-style website called IKEAforum and it displays the IKEA logo, but has a disclaimer that the site has no sponsorship or affiliation whatsoever with IKEA. Is the creator of this website at risk for a lawsuit from IKEA for trademark violation? (due to the URL, use of logo, etc). Could IKEA shut him down? Does it matter that it's not a money-making site (and sells no ad space)? If I created a similar site regarding another retailer (but NOT using its logo) -- how risky is that? Free legal advice is welcome ;-)

I'm trying to buy some cool soccer gear for my husband's teenage sister, but I'm finding that all the sites seem to be fronts for some kind of central wholesaler; they all have identical prices, inventory, et cetera. Can anyone recommend a good, independent online sporting goods or soccer specialty store? [more inside]

Assume I'm starting from scratch except for a 32" JVC TV with s-video input. How would you build a budget home theater for a multi-purpose room? Rather than get into my particular preferences (other than that I want to play DVDs, CDs and CD-Rs), I'd like respondents to make recommendations based on the variables most important to them (e.g., getting a cheap player and being indifferent to its picture quality because it's region-free; splurging on a center channel speaker because it's that important; insisting on a combo DVD-R/PVR regardless of price because it's such a killer app; going with simple stereo separation because surround sound is overblown, etc.). Specific product and retailer recommendations are especially welcome.
