It's been almost 10 years since I last changed jobs and it's also been that long since I've written a resume. I'd like to get some (hopefully) expert opinion and editing to bring my resume up to date, both to reflect the skills/experience I've gained and ensure that it is in a format that will be acceptable to recruiters/companies. Has anyone used a resume service recently that you've been pleased with? (I'm located in the NYC metro area if that makes a difference).

I need help recontextualizing my skillset. I think I’m looking at my resume too literally, and boxing myself in unnecessarily when it comes to looking for other options.

My name is listed in the acknowledgment section of a science protocols book where the authors thank me for assistance and advice. The sections that I wrote ended up being reduced to a few sentences, and I was not listed as an author despite a promise of inclusion. Would it be appropriate to include that on my otherwise skimpy CV, or would that be considered tacky?

Resume help
I'm in need of a professional to retune my resume. And I need help.
Long story short:
Is there someone you used who 'knocked you out'?
(If you're a mefite who does this, I'm interested in your services as well)

Has anyone used getinterviews.com for resume writing or any similar services? Basically, my sister is looking at using them, the position she is interested in would be reporting to the CIO.
