I take Clenil Modulite (Beclometasone dipropionate, a daily steroid) and Ventolin (Salbutamol, as needed) for my asthma, in inhaler form. I'm visiting Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Japan, Russia and Mongolia in the course of a backpacking trip starting next month. I want to take these medicines with me, but am finding it hard to find info about restricted drugs in these countries. Can you help? [more inside]

I'm about to widen my photographic and film interests and turn my hobby into something more professional. I've always wondered how photographers/artists are able to get into places such as prisons, military sites, 'secret' industrial buildings and other seemingly restricted areas etc to take authorized pictures. How do they do it? What's the trick?

How does Google collect content that is subscription-only? I've found that I can often read the cached html versions of pdf files from subscription-only sites even when I can't get the pdf itself. How do they do that?
