I need to do a business lunch with two or three people in Orlando near the convention center on a weekday. Previous posts suggest that the International Drive area will be a crowded mess. Any suggestions for a business-appropriate lunch spot that is close to the convention center (walkable or very, very short cab ride) and that is not likely to keep us waiting?

The wife and I are heading to San Francisco for a conference this weekend taking place at the Embarcadero Hyatt. My question is a two-parter: (a) Where in the vicinity should we go for breakfast, lunch etc. on our relatively-short breaks? and (b) After things wind down for the day, where should we explore? More criteria to follow. [more inside]

In the 1980's when the Mountain Jack's restaurant chain was formed, the overarching company also had a chain of upscale seafood restaurants, which they built and promoted at the same time. These restaurants had a rooftop 'lighthouse'. In the 90's, they were converted to Mountain Jack's. What was the original name of this restaurant chain? Attached is a link to a google streetview of one (closed) in Michigan.

I have a chance to name a new sandwich at a favorite lunch spot. I have a chance to name a new sandwich at a favorite lunch spot. I gave the owner the idea making some tweaks on an existing sandwich. He liked the idea and said it will be on the menu next week. Then he said I had to name it. The new sandwich will be a Carolina style pulled chicken, marinated in Buffalo wing sauce with Gorgonzola cheese. All stuffed in a hallowed out sub roll to make a "handwich". I've been racking my brain for a name that might incorporate a Buffalo/Carolina connection, but Buffalina or Carofalo are the lazy way out. Also, using my nickname "Eman" in the name of the sandwich would not bother me. So bombard me with your ideas.

I've been watching "Hell's Kitchen" and, yes, I know it's a reality show and thus somewhat or largely fake, but having watched it, I now really don't understand how any restaurants actually produce food.
