Decaf in the morning and caffeine at night, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!

Audio: "You help me now, or it's war, buddy!"

A friend of mine asked: "Back when I did tech support, there was an audio file that made its way around the office and the (somewhat nascent) internet. A woman was shrieking about having been on hold for over an hour, and she says the phrase, "... you help me now, or it's war, buddy!" Can anyone help me hunt this down? It has to be out there somewhere! Thanks!"

Movie with a flower-through-concrete timelapse?

I'm trying to remember a film released within the last 10 years, most likely from the early 2000's. The last shot of the movie is a timelapse shot of a flower blossoming or possibly sprouting up through concrete. It's likely a Todd Haynes film or a Charlie Kauffman script or something along those lines. (Pointing me toward any other movies with time-lapse shots of flowers blossoming would also be helpful.) Possibly loose DVI or tight VGA?

My monitor is a 24" Samsung with dual VGA and DVI outputs. I've been using the DVI output to connect to a 3 year old white Macbook. Today, like an idiot, I moved the monitor without detaching the monitor cable, and the screws snapped off, and I cannot get what is left of them out of the holes. So now, I can either use the DVI output with no screws to hold the cable in place, or I can use the VGA output. Which is my best option? [more inside]

Looking for a Wordless Book

I'm looking for the title and author of a wordless book (just pictures) that came out probably in the 1990s, and probably British. It concerns a man's life from childhood, through his teen years, into his marriage, the death of his wife, and in the end I think he dies. I can't remember the author/artist or the publisher. I think the pictures were full page watercolors or in the style of watercolors.
