What's an appropriate greeting for the Diwali festival?

Diwali is coming up and I'd like to politely mention this to my close Indian coworkers, similar to a 'Happy Christmas' or 'Happy New Years' they would be likely to say to me. What's the best way, would a simple 'Happy Diwali' be appropriate? If so, what's the correct day for this as it's a 5 day festival from my understanding? This year (2010) it looks like November 5th is the main date.

How Much Wood Would a Woodchuck Chuck if a Woodchuck was a 15 year old fantasy novel?

Help me identify this book. It's a fantasy novel with a medieval setting that had a lot of references to woodchucks in it. The characters were not anthropomorphized animals, but there was a running joke about the word woodchuck with apostrophes in it, and I believe there was a picture of a woodchuck in a family crest or something like that on the cover. My sister remembers it too, so I am pretty sure it exists, but we can't remember any further plot details and google is not being helpful. Any guesses?

Bicycle clothes/gear for big bodies?

I like riding my bicycle, but I'm having trouble finding clothes that fit. I'm 6'1", 305 lbs. I've researched other askme's, and there was some good stuff-- including the only company I can find so far that even comes close to fitting me-- 3XL the Minus 33 merino shirt, and even that is pretty small and tight on me. But I'm looking for more information and pointers than I can find on my own. I know there is a passionate bicycling clique here at Metafilter, and I'm hoping they can offer me some advice and sources for clothes to fit my odd-shaped body. Details below the jump. [more inside]

Integrated Amps: Marantz PM8003?

As Marantz has introduced a new (but hardly improved) model, Music Direct is selling the PM8003 integrated amplifier for half usual MSRP ($499 vs. $999). From what I've read, it's a splendid piece of kit, and a solid value before the drastic discount. My question for you; would you recommend something else, for $500 or less, that you feel is superior to the Marantz? In terms of sonic character, I favor impartiality, perhaps slight warmth, but balance and purity foremost, if that informs suggestions at all. I'd like to feel I've surveyed my options thoroughly before going through with the purchase.

Rhapsody's genres has something called Electro-Funk which includes artists like the Bass Mekanik that include test tones on some albums and Bass Transmission. I'm particularly interested in the sustained low low bass "notes," particularly when combined with higher percussion (snare) in a really danceable, but somewhat slow tempo.
