Help me find this music video from the mid- to late-nineties. Possible data points: I believe I only saw it once, on MTV's
120 Minutes. There were Muppet-style puppets in bright colors but with a slightly out-of-date film stock, as though the video was a Sesame Street spoof. The song lyrics included the word "Lollipop". I think one scene involved refrigerator-magnet plastic letters forming a word. I believe the band was British. That's all I got, man. Half of this may be hallucinated, for I know. Can you help?

We've just moved to town (Vancouver, BC) and are planning a wedding for next summer (fun!) The reception must be a Chinese banquet and I was wondering if anyone had any positive/happy experiences with attending or having a wedding banquet at any particular Chinese restaurant?

When I was in high school, we had a writing lab with some type of mainframe-ish type terminals setup, where there was writing software available which would list frequently repeated words, point out large paragraphs, spelling errors, document complexity, punctuation errors, etc. This was awhile ago, is this type of thing freely available anywhere these days?

I recently adopted a 2 yr. old Shih Tzu from the pound. He's been to the vet and has a clean bill of health. He's settled very well into things here and I'd like to start working on training him. After reading about several different methods I find clicker training the most interesting but I've never done it before. Anyone have any suggestions or tips?

I am likely to soon get a job offer from Company A. Yesterday, Company B called to schedule an interview for a few weeks from now. I would prefer to work at Company B, but if I didn't get the job, I would want to work at Company A. How do I handle this delicate situation, seeing as we're talking about almost a month until I would have an answer from Company B?

How do I replace non-printable barf from charset mangling with sed/awk or perl? I have a collection of flat html files which at some point in the past got corrupted charset-wise. You can see an example broken file
here. Apache serves them up utf-8 in a clearly broken way, but dropping in a .htaccess to force iso-8859-1 doesn't help (see
here) and ditto windows-1252 (see
here). When I open the files in vim or less, I see "<89>" as if it were one char for what should be ’ (right curly quotation mark). I don't know how to replace that in a programmatic way since it's not a literal bracket-eight-nine-bracket. Halp?8>

I read the Wikipedia article on Dubai itself, but am still confused as to exactly how businesses such as a hotel located in the country can afford to do things like
put on a larger fireworks show than the opening ceremony of the Olympics.
A friend of mine with Republican/Libertarian leanings told me they do not charge any form of taxes and that is why business has boomed there, but I am a bit dubious about this answer.
I know they use a lot of borderline slave labor to build, but there has to be more than that too.

Looking for a political cartoon in which a gay Republican is asked about how he arrived at his political identity, and he eventually answers, "I'm in a high tax bracket." I remember it as a Tom Tomorrow or possibly Ted Rall cartoon from the late '90s or early '00s, but so far I've had no luck in Googling for it.

Many of the files listed are image files, and I'd like to be able to see them without having to click on each one individually. Is there some kind of add-on or plugin that will automatically show thumbnails of all the images on the page or am I stuck clicking on each one?

I have a 2-node Windows 2000 Enterprise Server Cluster running SQL 2000 Server. I've added a new Disk Resource to the cluster. The two servers can see the new disk and failover is seamless. However, SQL Server does not see the new disk. I cannot move a database to the new disk, change the backup location to the new disk, etc.
What steps are required to get SQL to see the new disk?
