Another Help Me pick a Graphics Card for a fear Commitment

My roommate is trying to build a computer on the cheap, giving me the perfect opportunity to sell him my BFG NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT and purchase a nicer graphics card. I don’t know squat about buying a graphics card, and I have just spent an hour on newegg.com looking at cards and I can’t bring my self to commit to any one particular card. I was hoping the hive mind and its infinite wisdom can point me in the direction of a particular card that is compatible with my computer. [more inside]

Drive to Vermont in December?

Are we crazy to think of driving from Atlanta to Vermont in late December? We have reservations at a great loft-barn-cabin and we have our favorite table at our favorite restaurant reserved for a New Year's Eve dinner, but the flights are so expensive right now. How much stress will we add to our lives if we drive? (It's not the length of the trip that worries us ... it's the potential for winter weather that Georgians don't know how to deal with.)

Help me stop holding back.

How can I be more affectionate? I always worry that any of my attempts at affection come across as clingy, and this probably makes me seem distant. 20 mile street hiking advice wanted

In less than 2 weeks time I am taking part in a 20 mile charity night-hike around the streets of London. Does anyone have any advice for such a venture? How worried should I be about my symptoms?

Should I be worried about this? I went to the doctor this morning to get checked out for cold/flu symptoms; I didn't think it was serious -- I just wanted to check that I didn't have H1N1, but the doctor told me that the treatment I'd been getting for prostatitis was "highly unusual for someone in their 20s", and he said I should immediately stop taking the antibiotic I'm on (Septra/Bactrim) because I might be having an allergic reaction to it, or possibly an autoimmune reaction.
