Gift ideas for my boyfriend’s dad?

Help me pick a great gift for my boyfriend’s dad. I’m spending Christmas Day with my partner’s family. They do a Kris Kringle for the adults, and I’ve drawn my partner’s father. I’ve only met him twice (the dad, not my partner). He seems lovely but I have absolutely no idea what to get him. I’ve asked my boyfriend of course, but he is not exactly brimming with ideas. Help! Where are the good job sites?

What are the best online sites for job hunting - specifically technical sales and marketing (software sales, hardware, etc). I got blind sided by a layoff on Monday. I've spent the last two days working my network and now it's time to start hitting the job sites. What are the good ones? I haven't had to do this in about 6 years. My initial reaction is that the job sites aren't any better, and maybe are worse, than I remember.

Can anyone remember the name of a puzzle game I played via a yahoo group in the early 2000s?

Can anyone remember the name of a puzzle game I played via a yahoo group in the early 2000s? Every week, they'd send a logic-type puzzle that was part of a larger mystery. I never solved the last two, and I wish I had. I'd love to give it another shot if this game is still online somewhere. [more inside]

What non-toxic material is best to fix a coffee pot?

I have a leak in my coffee pot's water tank, and upon examination, I cant see where the leak is coming from (meaning that the whole bottom generally gets too wet to detect the crack). I was thinking I would run a thin bead of some kind of material around the bottom of the tank to attempt to seal it back up. My question is: what kind of material would you recommend that would not pose any toxin problem in case the tank water comes into contact with it? It would also have to be generally heat tolerant as the coffee pot heats up under there.
