Does anyone know where I can find an old wood lathe to restore and turn massive burls? This isn't your father's lathe, it's more likely your great grandfather's lathe and hasn't been out of the barn since before the War. It weighs half a ton. If you hang out at the VFW or in old union halls and ask around a massive bowl will be your reward for the beta. I'll go anywhere in the Northeast if it's cheap and farther than that if it is free.

MolecularBiologyFilter: Embarrassingly easy question for any immunologists out there: are Toll-like receptors (or other pathogen recognition receptors) only expressed in professional antigen presenting cells (DCs, macrophages etc), or are they in e.g. epithelial cells too?

I need to order pizza for a focus group of undergraduate students meeting at lunchtime. 29 students have signed up in advance (+3 facilitators), but I expect fewer to actually show up; the meeting is voluntary but some will receive extra credit in class for attending.
How many 16" pizzas should I order?

I'm in the market for a used car and I'd like one that won't disintegrate on me before I'm done paying for it. I have a total budget of $6k and want to buy from a dealer. What should I be looking for in terms of models, makes, and mileage? My top priorities are price, reliability, and MPG (in that order.) Assume I know nothing about cars. Because I don't.

Writing a funeral scene. Am familiar only with Jewish funerals. What happens, graveside, at a Catholic funeral? Prayers? How is the casket carried, and covered with dirt? Any specific rituals I should know about?
If any knows particularly what happens at a Catholic funeral in France this would be even more helpful.

Looking for good composition software on Mac. No actual recorded tracks- it'd be all Kurzweil PC-88 inputted MIDI. Must-haves include fairly easy ability to just jump in and start composin', a music score notation interface, very realistic quality of the instruments (i.e., that my midi inputted keyboard can still sound like a darn good bass guitar), and decent ability to refine the sound quality. Want to help remember a book title? 'Course ya do! It's from the 80s and, if I remember correctly, involves some kids that discover a new game at the local arcade. There's a pilot's helmet on top of the machine, and when they try it on and attempt the game they find they can travel through time. I believe the cover was a picture of the machine and the helmet. At one point they use it to break into a research facility or something, but before that I think they go back too far and it's still being built (leading to some fretting about jumping forward in time and ending up halfway through a wall or floor). I know somebody out there can field this one!

Mr Mutant & I may like to attend one or more Wimbledon events this year.
Has anyone ever queued for tickets? We're a little concerned as the Wimbledon web site mentions "overnight queuing" is allowed. Even though they sell 6,000 tickets on the day of the event, are we likely to leave disappointed if we go out the morning of the event?
We don't really care who we see playing or what court; its more the experience we're interested in.
