I have two questions about setting up MS Access forms:
1) Currently, I have a form to enter the volunteer id, shift start time and shift stop time, but the client doesn't want to have to look up the id in a report. Is there a way to create a selection list from the volunteer's names? What other options are there?
2) On the "add/edit a volunteer" form, I'd like to be able to choose tasks from a selection list. The tasks table has id and name. The "tasks of volunteers" join table has volunteer id and task id. How do I set this up? I can't seem to get the right combination of configurations.

My doctor recently prescribed some Librium for awful stomach cramps. It seems that it is making all my food and drink now taste just terrible, like it's all got nutrasweet in it. I know the simple answer here is "just stop taking it", but that's really not an option.
The Google is useless on this, and I really miss drinking water that tastes like water, and not water with some awful chemical in it.
I guess, long question short:
Is this the medication causing this or do I have a brain tumor?

Scootering back to Aus (Melbourne) from UK and want to transfer my motorcyle license.
I have a UK A1 class motorcycle license (A full A1 licence permits you to ride any motorcycle up to 125cc and a power output of up to 11kW (14.6 bhp) without `L' plates, carry pillion passengers and use motorways.) Can this be transferred to something useful back in Aus (Victoria) so I can ride a Vespa (150cc) with sitting any more tests or having L/P plates??

At end of August, am heading from SF to Yosemite by Amtrak train+thruway coach, staying in the middle of the park valley for a couple of nights, then heading to Las Vegas for a couple more nights and flight back to the UK. It looks like Amtrak coach+train to Bakersfield, stay overnight there, then coach to Las Vegas is the obvious itinerary, otherwise it would be an extremely long day's travel. Any other suggestions, or anywhere better to break the trip? Many thanks.

I've picked up a freelance job writing simple financial-advice articles, but now and then the topics they give me to write about don't always work. Sometimes it's easy for me to spot the ones that don't make sense -- but not always, because I don't have a financial background. Can someone who does tell me if this statement (inside) about loans makes sense?

Headhunter #1 calls me about Cool Hedge Fund (CHF) and wows me with stories of its coolness. He sends my resume. CHF "has already picked someone" and that is the end of that, I figure. A month, maybe two pass and I get a call from Headhunter #2: have I heard of Cool Hedge Fund? Would I be interested in a spot there? "Uh yeah I think I've heard of them... I suppose I would be interested" say I, nonchalantly failing to mention my prior submission through a different headhunter. This time they bite and I get a past the screener and the six-hour gruelling interview and find myself on the short list, one more interview away from the prize. All is well until one day Headhunter #1 finds out that I have interviewed with CHF under the auspices of a different headhunter. He mentions that were I to get the job, it would be a "big mess" - something about who gets fees, etc. What can I do? Who can I trust? Will it inevitably end in a battle with headhunters mounted on frothing lawyers and the CHF running away from the whole thing screaming?

We just came out of a real estate boom where a lot of ugly buildings were built and sold for a lot of money, some by celebrity architects. Why weren't any recent buildings built from or based on Frank Lloyd Wright designs? I'm sure the estate or the foundation or whatever would charge a lot of money for licensing, but the cachet surely would've done wonders for sale prices.
