Degrees of Degrees...

I have an MLIS and work in a govt. library (US). Trying to decide if I should go back to school for either an MS in Knowledge Management or another Bachelor's in Computer Science (to add to my totally unrelated Bachelor of Fine Arts degree) to move forward in my career and contribute more to the 'back-end' of library systems and services. They would both take about the same amount of time to complete. Do you have thoughts about or experience similar to this? [more inside]

Intermediate/Advanced Java Programming Books?

I'm a software developer with several years of experience under my belt. Lately, I've been working with lots of Java code, but have very little formal Java training. Can you have two health insurance companies & plans?

Hi MeFi, So a bit of a weird situation here. I was laid off in 2013 and at the end of that year I applied for Obamacare. It took FOREVER to get the application going since the website was awful so long story short, it's early 2014 and I get a job with full benefits. I completely forget about the application for Obamacare and it's now January 2015 and I received a letter from CeltiCare Health saying 'hi, here's your coverage card. you are now insured with celticare...' So now, technically, I have two coverages? One from my employer and through Celticare? How does this work? Should I call Celticare and let them know I already have insurance? What benefits are there to having two? Legal or not? Thanks for your help!

How to Tell Excel to Evaluate Last Three Months (NOT Last 90 Entries)

I have an Excel spreadsheet I use to track glucose readings. There’s a value diabetics use called “A1C” which looks at the last three months of readings. It's based on a blood test, but can be estimated by averaging your readings for the last three months. I try to track every day, but I can’t reliably say “look at the last 90 values” – so I’m wondering how to set up a formula to tell it to only look at readings going back 90 days, not necessarily 90 readings. Need a good migraine doc in Seattle!

Asking for my wife. She's had pretty frequent migraines most of her life, but in the last few years, they've become more frequent and resistant to her usual meds (mainly Imatrex). Both her regular doc and a neurologist reference recently retired, so I thought I'd cast the net to the crowd here. Have you had a good experience with an individual doctor or clinic in the Seattle area specializing in migraines? Huge thanks from both me and my wife for any leads.

MacBook charger cord casing repair
