I have an unknown song stuck in my head!

I'm looking for a song sung by someone with a Seether-like, raspy-sounding voice. The only lyrics I can remember are "you will never be lonely (lonesome?) again." [more inside]

I need a "stuck in the school library" hobby.

I'm looking for a project that can be done mostly on the computers at my school. I'm usually there for 8-9 hours waiting for a ride, and my schoolwork takes me around an hour to finish. I'd like to put the rest of that free-time towards something productive. [more inside]

I'm worried about talking too much/too little with customers.

Is there a general guideline for an acceptable length of time to chat with customers if you're a cashier, desk-person, etc? How do you politely make sure you don't talk for too long? [more inside]

Logic vs Emotions re: the ex.

My ex told me he still has feelings for me and wants to see where things go. I'm not too happy with how he treated me in the past and I want to close the door for good, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it. Deep down, I want to say "okay, let's see where things go" but I -know- that would be a bad decision. I'd like someone to pick apart my reasons so I don't go ahead and make the decision anyway. How do I keep friends?

When you first meet someone, aside from personality type, what are things that the person can say or do that would make you NOT want to spend time with them again? I'm late developing social skills (social anxiety in HS; stayed inside 90% of the time) and one thing I've noticed is that while people take an interest in me initially, I haven't had any success maintaining that interest. Too soon, Executus!

I'm dating someone I've known for about a month. He appears to be incredibly interested in me, but to me it feels way too soon for him to feel that way. I don't know how to figure out if his feelings are genuine. Is it possible to be head-over-heels with someone after a month of knowing them? [more inside]

You don't hear this one every day.

I'd like to add a kitten to the family. However, I have a toy fox terrier which makes this difficult. Every cat I've had in the past would eventually begin stalking the dog, pawing him on his hindquarters and biting his neck. The dog would cower 24/7 and I ultimately needed to keep them in separate areas of the house, at all times, to protect him. I've tried various methods to prevent this, but since the last time I've owned a cat was over five years ago I'm open to re-trying anything.

Avoiding mealtime awkwardness.

You're out to eat with another person, or a group of people. You're not hungry or are a light eater, so you've finished your meal before everyone else. During the natural pause when everyone takes a bite/chews, where do you look/what do you do to avoid the awkwardness of watching everyone else eat? [more inside]

Where can I find drivers for my wireless antenna?

Where can I find drivers for this USB adapter for my Macbook Pro? The product comes with a Minidisk, which my mac can't read. I can't seem to locate the website for "GP," and downloading drivers for other companies hasn't worked. My Mac isn't detecting the adapter at all on it's own, but the box says it works with Macs. Any ideas?

More cello, please.

I'm looking for songs similar to Cello Song by Vast, Glass Vase Cello Case by Tattle Tale, and Great Escape by Moby. Basically, songs with prominent cello and with a darker feel to them. I'm not looking for all-cello/string bands, such as Apocalyptica and Break of Reality.

Are there any games out there like these?

I'm looking for PC/Mac (have both) games similar to Indigo Prophecy and Shadow of Destiny. I loved the games because of the way your previous choices influence later ones, as well as the surreal and psychological aspects present. Both of the games have a similar 'feel' that I'm looking for. Any suggestion is great as long as it's not a point and click adventure game.

Recommend me a wireless booster?

My boyfriend and I would like to play MMOs together, but unfortunately his wireless doesn't reach the basement where his PC is. We'd like to play in the same room, so I'm looking for some (~$30) USB wireless booster recommendations. I've searched google and amazon, and although I've found many products, there aren't many reviews about. I'm on a Macbook Pro, and his wireless router is a Linksys.

Help me find this game! Thanks.

I'm trying to find a game I played when I was younger. It was on the PSX (I believe), and consisted of switching between different animal bodies to navigate the world. The graphics were cartoonish, and you were a "soul." When you weren't inside a body you looked like a black spider, and if you stayed out too long you would die. [more inside]

Help me choose a DSLR.

Can anyone recommend a good action, landscaping, and travel DSLR in the $~1000 range? I tend to travel around and take pictures of nature, which include landscape as well as fast-moving animals. (Low light would be nice too, but I won't hold my breath.) I have read this, but it's from '07. I'd like updated recommendations.

What's a good film SLR for a beginner?

I'd like recommendations of a good ~$200 film SLR for a beginner. I'll be using the kit lens for now. I can't afford a digital SLR. I know the cost of film/development adds up, but for now I just need something to get off my feet. I've been doing photography for years, but I never learned beyond point-and-shoot cameras. Something that's compact and fairly new would be great, but not required. I like to take nature and portrait shots.
