Back in my OS 9 days, I played a game in which you controlled a factory. Raw materials would come out of a pipe somewhere, and you had to control the conveyor belts, chutes, and other machines in the factory to make a certain quota of items by the end of the day. Incorrectly made items, of course, were deducted from your score. Can anyone else remember this game, and (even better) tell me where to find it?

A few years ago I found an entertaining article online, where the author described playing Sims 2 to make life as difficult as possible for his main character. I seem to remember that he made the character colossally ugly, and that he made the house into a maze of twist little passages, all alike. I can't seem to find the article on the basis of these clues, though; does anyone remember this better than I do?

ObscureMacGameFilter: when I was in college, I spent too much time playing an old Mac game with a somewhat... unique ending. I've forgotten the title — can Mefi help? [more, including spoilers for the ending, inside]
