Song about stages of life?

Halp! I can't think of the song by a guy talking about different ages in his life; he names several ages like 15, 24, etc., throughout the song and for each one talks about how he feels at that time. It's has a slowish melancholy feel to it. Thanks Mefites!

It's not Adele, or the Bee Gees

I heard a great song in spinning class today during the long, slow, hard hill section - slow and steady beat.. I almost remember the song and it's playing on and endless loop just at the edge of my consciousness. Female singer, strong vocal reminiscent of Adele, could have been a James Bond theme song, but I know it wasn't. I want to say Shadow Dancer, but I googled that and came up with a Bee Gees song, definitely not it. I won't sleep tonight unless I figure this out. Please help.

Name of a song from last night's The Walking Dead?

No worries, no spoilers follow. In last night's The Walking Dead (Season 3, Episode 12) there was a song playing just prior to the credits and I badly want the name of it (and the artist of course). The whole song was accompanied by an acoustic guitar and was in a blues style. Lyrics follow: [more inside]

Name that Song, Acoustic Edition

Yesterday I heard this song in a Chipotle, but I regularly hear a snippet of it on some NPR (specifically WGBH, Boston) program. A link to my sluggish GarageBand interpretation is attached; the actual song is at a much, much faster tempo. I don't remember any vocals. http://www.watzatsong.com/en/name-that-tune/366507.html What's it called?

I think it's a recent song - The chorus has has a woman singing in a simple voice. She sounds young and has a neutral accent - the non-chorus parts of the song I think is a reggae hip hop deal, but not sure. [more inside]

Help me identify a song

I heard a song on the radio the other day--heavy bass, female vocalist, the bass almost made a wah-wah,pulsating sound. I couldn't catch much of the lyrics. It had something to do with dying. Maybe the word "madness" or "sadness" was in there. Still it was a great song, and I can't find the title or the band. Any ideas--it's a new song--never heard it before. I live in the DC area, and I don't recall the radio station either.

Help us find the Whoa oh song!

Help me find this song! My wife and I have been trying to find a song we keep hearing in commercials and in Football stadiums, but can't figure out what it is. The main part of the song is a chorus singing "Whoa oh, whoa oh ohhh oh, woah oh ohhh oh, woah oh". [more inside]

What song is this?

Heard this chorus to a song, but cannot for the life of me find what it's from. The lyrics in question are, "inside/into each other". If I was to try to replicate the melody it would be like, "iiiiinsiiide each ooother", or, "iiiintoooo each oooother." And it repeats a few times. If I was to write the lyrics for the whole song down, this phrase would be standing alone, and take its own line. Either the song is unknown, or I have the lyrics wrong, because what shows up on Google isn't the song. The song itself was sung by a female, and at a calm pace throughout with a melody of, or just a chorus melody of: Dooooo-doo, do dooooo-do. Thanks! This has been really bugging me.

Hawaiian music for my grandfather's funeral?

My grandfather is 91 and we're helping him plan his funeral. At it, he wants Hawaiian music played. Apparently it's the music he used to hear at dances (in New Zealand) when he met my grandmother in the late 30s/early 1940s. According to the BBC, there was a fad for Hawaiian music in wartime Britain, especially a band called Felix Mendelssohn and his Hawaiian Serenaders, but I can't find much by them. Any ideas? I guess it would be a slow dance kind of song. [more inside]
