DFW Airport shuttle to Centreport Station timing.

Hi, can anyone give me an approximate time scale of the shuttle service between the TRE Centreport Station and DFW Airport? If I've read it correctly on the airport's website, the shuttle leaves every 15-30 mins from Centreport, then I change at South Remote Parking for the shuttle to Terminal D, which leaves every 15 mins. But I can't find even a vague idea of how long these trips will take so I can decide which trains to catch. Thanks!

Who do I address this employment coverletter to?

I'm about to apply for a job that's a great fit for me! But one thing has me stumped. The ad says to send resumes to S_smith@perfectjob.org. The staff directory says S. Smith is the "HR assistant." However, I know the name of the executive director and the person who heads the department I would be working in. Do I address my cover letter to the HR assistant, the executive director, or the department head? (I'm pretty sure I should not direct it generically to "Hiring Manager.")

Requested SSDI hearing, benefits stopped anyway

I requested an SSDI hearing within the amount of time needed to continue my benefits. I spoke with the office twice, in person, to ensure that I had done what I needed to to continue my benefits. As my benefits didn't arrive today, I have done some frantic searching and determined that SSA never gave me the form that said, yes please, I would like benefits continuing, although I have proof as to when I asked for the appeal. How to Sell Fine Art?

My mother owned some art from the 60s-80s, and she passed a little over four years ago; since then, it has been in my spare closet. I would like to sell it, if possible, because I believe some of the work is valuable, but the closed art market makes that impossible to assess. I understand that to sell art, the broker/seller/?? will take a percentage of a sale, which is fine. But I've asked around (here in Portland, ME) and I haven't received a reference for someone who can help me with that. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

I have no idea if I am this dude's friend, date, or source of intrigue

I met a guy on okc last October. He asked me out several times during November and I cancelled every time. He then deactivated his account for three months. He reappeared mid March this year and we have been hanging out once or twice a week since. To what end I am completely unsure. I guess I could just come out and ask him but I am a complete freak when it comes to my own romantic situations - I have no idea how to read them, I cannot guide myself and I spend a lot of time very, very confused... as well as bordering on panic. Help me figure out what is going on here and what I should do about it. There is a very long story inside, but I swear to you, I have looked on here, as well as googled my issue and all I can find is quizzes on cosmopolitan.com to help me, or advice blogs from chauvinists. Knock knock, what was that book?

Please help me find a mystery book from my childhood. I am stumped. It would have been in the mid 70s, probably between 1974-77. I think it was science/nature-related book that may have been one of a series. What I remember is a hard-cover book, and on the back inside cover there was mounted a round plastic disk with an arrow inside, sort of like a compass. It was visible though holes in the pages and front cover. There were questions with multiple choices on each page, and you would close the book and knock on the cover a certain number of times to make the needle point to the correct answer on a corresponding page. That sounds crazy even as I type it, but if someone could find this book (or even corroborate my memory) I would be eternally grateful.

Can you identify these chairs from Hannibal?

Recently, all my photos more recent than Feb 2014 are not visible via Windows Explorer even though the camera itself shows that those photos are indeed stored in the same folder on the external SD card that has all the pre-Feb photos. How to Protect My Employability

A combination of anxiety attack and anemia (the term used by the paramedics was close to that, I don't recall) caused me to pass out in my office. I was discovered unconscious, and came to as the EMT people arrived. I was not scheduled to work that day, but agreed to help the shift supervisor and departing assistant manager, who refused to come into work. The shift supervisor did not react well to the possibility of having to stay in the store to close it. This resulted in a public confrontation after the paramedics left (because I refused further medical treatment; they told me to go home immediately). I ended up closing the store. My store manager, who tried to fire me once already, has informed the District Manger and HR. I was told to come in at my scheduled time, but I can expect to sign papers. What can I expect during a retail-industry termination? [more inside]

help us replace boxed rice with rice cooker recipes

Hi, me and mrs.chasles and the two littlest chasleses all eat rice, and how! we cook a LOT of white rice in the rice cooker but for flavored rice (think uncle bens type stuff) we switch to the boxes. they are great and savory but very high in sodium and quite a bit more expensive than white rice in the cooker. so how do we migrate from boxed to recipes in the rice cooker (or slow cooker)? the flavors we usually buy are like chicken and herb, wild mushroom, that sort of thing. nothing cheesey etc. In other words is it as simple as "throw some mushrooms in with the rice" or do we need to get more complex? Now with the background out of the way here is the question distilled down: how do we get that intense creamy flavor in a rice cooker? we are both good in the kitchen, so complexity or make-in-advance are all ok for us! thanks for helping!

Moving to Canada from the US - question about renting an apartment

I am finishing my Ph.D this month and will be moving to Canada for a post-doc position. The town where I will be moving to has a VERY tight rental market and from what I have heard, apartments rent within hours of being posted on the local rental websites. My husband is flying out about a month before we officially move up to secure a place for us to rent, but we are worried about trying to pay for a place without a Canadian bank account. We don't want to give cash to the landlord because it is untraceable and we are pretty sure no one will accept a check from a US bank. Has anyone had to deal with this before?
