Sun worshiping cartoon short

Help me identify this animated cartoon I remember watching in the mid/late 80s about a village of people who worshiped the sun. They all got up while it was still dark to start their preparations while singing, and once the sun rose they worshiped it and collected the golden sunshine in buckets. [more inside]

A concept so big the mind can't grasp it...

I read an article recently about our species ongoing bid to destroy our natural habitat. In the article (possibly 'The Guardian') it invoked a concept invented by (I think) a cultural critic (whose name escapes me), the general premise being that our slow-motion environmental collapse falls into a class of ideas that are so vast that our minds can't process or focus on it and therefore it tends to disregard it. I'm sure the article gave this concept a name...any ideas?

Cryogenics Movie

I have a memory of seeing a movie on TV when I was maybe five or six years old (so, early 1970s) in which a young woman was frozen cryogenically in order to keep her fresh and young while the young son of the mad scientist doing this freezing would have time to grow up and then, twenty years or so in the future, marry the then-to-be-unthawed woman. What am I remembering?

An SPF-free tinted moisturizer?

I went all feminist hulk and threw away all of my make up, but now I kind of want some tinted moisturizer as my skin isn't really adjusting to the climate of my new home. (Breakout city!) I need something that is SPF-free, and for a complexion similar to Kerry Washington or Mindy Kaling, and I've never seen tinted moisturizer any darker than something meant for like, Eva Longoria. I'd prefer if it was made from all natural ingredients, was fragrance free, and didn't smudge, and I'm also on a budget- I would like to keep it under $20 if possible. Thanks!

DFW Airport shuttle to Centreport Station timing.

Hi, can anyone give me an approximate time scale of the shuttle service between the TRE Centreport Station and DFW Airport? If I've read it correctly on the airport's website, the shuttle leaves every 15-30 mins from Centreport, then I change at South Remote Parking for the shuttle to Terminal D, which leaves every 15 mins. But I can't find even a vague idea of how long these trips will take so I can decide which trains to catch. Thanks!

Who do I address this employment coverletter to?

I'm about to apply for a job that's a great fit for me! But one thing has me stumped. The ad says to send resumes to S_smith@perfectjob.org. The staff directory says S. Smith is the "HR assistant." However, I know the name of the executive director and the person who heads the department I would be working in. Do I address my cover letter to the HR assistant, the executive director, or the department head? (I'm pretty sure I should not direct it generically to "Hiring Manager.")

New Teacher Hired, Pissing Off Veteran Staff, Help?

I'm in my first year as a principal at a special needs high school and recently, the school director (above me organizationally) hired a new teacher who isn't quite fitting in. Far too many staff members have approached me and basically, this new teacher is pissing a lot of people off. It's not worthwhile to get into specifics, but it is fair to say that their issues are valid and this new teacher acts like a know-it-all, she's fairly abrasive and dismissive to seasoned staff. These teachers are well-respected in our field and great at their jobs. [more inside]

How to Sell Fine Art?

My mother owned some art from the 60s-80s, and she passed a little over four years ago; since then, it has been in my spare closet. I would like to sell it, if possible, because I believe some of the work is valuable, but the closed art market makes that impossible to assess. I understand that to sell art, the broker/seller/?? will take a percentage of a sale, which is fine. But I've asked around (here in Portland, ME) and I haven't received a reference for someone who can help me with that. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
