I'm looking at buying a Playstation 3 pretty much only so I can have a really good Blu-ray player. It's highly unlikely I'll ever buy any PS3 games beyond GTA4, Rockband and maybe Little Big Planet. Given this, should I just buy the 40GB model of the console or are the extra features of the 80GB model (flash card reader, SACD support etc) worth the extra cash in the long run?

My daughter is a huge Ruff Ruffman fan. She really wants a t-shirt with Ruff on it, but such a thing does not exist - well, at least there's no 'official' Ruff shirt from PBS or WGBH. I have been given a Dad Mission: procure a shirt by any means necessary. Can anyone find a Ruff graphic large enough to print on a shirt? (Format doesn't matter.) Have I missed a secret stash of RuffWear for sale somewhere? Does anyone know anyone who knows Ruff? Help me, Ask, my squeaky toy has lost it's squeak!

I haven't watched The Simpsons regularly since about season 12 or 13, but in those episodes I did happen to catch on TV, I have never seen them directly attack President Bush. I do remember back in the 'golden age' they used to regularly poke fun at Clinton (to name but one example, Clinton playing the sax and Moe telling him to "get back to work"). I'm wondering if regular watchers of The Simpsons can point me to episodes from season 13 onwards where they did directly parody or attack Bush.

My boss, the professor, has accepted the challenge of starting a new electronic academic journal to be self-published by the professional organisation that she currently heads. Help me identify a movie which contains this scene: A woman and a man are on a moving train. The woman's breasts are painfully full of milk; the man is hungry. The woman breastfeeds the man, satisfying both their needs. What I know: This is similar to the breastfeeding scene at the end of The Grapes of Wrath. What I think I know: The scene I am thinking of is not from the movie of The Grapes of Wrath itself. The train is moving (unlike the stationary wagon/barn in TGoW). The movie is Russian, or of a Russian novel. The scene is presented as a parable, with a solemn voiceover. The scene is at the beginning of the movie, and the movie is from the 60s or 70s.

I have a Canon Ixus 65 and I want to get the photos off the camera and onto my iPhoto-less Mac (10.4.10). Could you recommend books similar to The Name of the Rose and Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell? There's something about the tone, the mashing of genres together, and the over-immersion in details that is unbelievably appealing to me. (But don't recommend Tolkien!) [more inside]

Where could I find the exact dates of the last ten (1997-2007) Macworld keynotes by Steve Jobs, done in San Francisco? I thought some apple history sites would list it, but rampant googling has only turned up info on the last couple years of shows.
