My husband and I are U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada. Are we required to file for divorce in Canada because we're legal residents there? If it's permissible to file in either country, anyone know of pro's or con's for either choice? [more inside]

I installed Resident Evil 5 on my ps3. The game started with the cinematic but after that it just kicks me back to the home screen of the PS. Now the game does'nt even start and it just keeps coming back to the home screen. I have tried other games like Little Big planet and Street Fighter which are not giving any issues. So how do i get this game to work. I have the latest firmware 2.76 installed.

I have a gamecube but the only game I have enjoyed immensely is Resident Evil 4. Didn't like the other Resident Evil games' controls and such. Any other games for the 'cube that you can recommend that are first person shooter, whether it be horror/sci-fi like Resiident Evil 4 or maybe a crime game? (Kinda over the WW2 games)...Man, I am a cynical gamecuber, ay...thanks for you thoughts and suggestions. I really appreciate it as I try to get as much use out of this cube as I can.

My friend works as a federal contractor, and he is a permanent resident / legal alien / green card holder. The thing is, it seems more and more federal contracts are requiring US Citizenship, which I can understand for the FBI and NSA and stuff... How does the government decide that US Citizenship is required for a contract. Is there a book of regulations they follow that I can see? [more inside]

My maid called this evening to inquire as to whether she can include my bi-weekly payments to her in her Section 8 (Los Angeles) income report. She is a legal resident but not a citizen. Other than tax implications for her, are there any issues that I should be aware of now that this previously non-broached issue has been broached (e.g., tax or legal)? My options are as follows: (1) say no and let her continue working; (2) say yes and let her continue working; or (3) politely inform her that her services are no longer required. She has only been cleaning my apartment for two months and came highly recommended by a friend. Obviously option (2) is preferable but I’d rather be safe than sorry.
