I'm looking for a replica of this antique watch
(or something similar to it) that I can purchase online. My mother has an antique watch from her grandmother that is very small. It's less than the width of a finger and it has a "jewelry clasp" on the thin leather straps. Is there a name for this style of watch? Or, is there a similar style that you have happened across online? I'm not looking for this exact watch, per se, just something this small and of the style.

I bought a used "replica" of the Eames Lounge Chair. I got it home
and I discovered its in quite a bit rougher shape than I thought.
But the thing that annoys me about it is that it does not have a
fixed recline as it should have, it actually tips a bit forward instead.
Who can I pay to fix that? (what would such a persons job description be?) [more inside]

Any ideas where I can get a replica Eames Desk Unit
for less than $1399? I've had good luck with finding replica mid-century modern furniture, as it just begs to be reproduced (molded plastics, simple materials). For some reason desks are several times harder to come by.

I'm looking for examples of things - anything - for which the "authentic" version is exceedingly rare or non-existent, and most or all of the real-life versions are imitations/knockoffs/replicas/synthetic/fake. Especially if the fake versions are commonly believed to be real. [more inside]

Where in the world could I purchase a replica of a globus cruciger or a sovereign's orb, AKA the awesome-looking symbolic globe thing that kings and angels are sometimes portrayed holding? [more inside]

Has anyone ever found a source for life-like rubber slugs? I've been trying to find some for an art project and every source I've been able to think of has turned out to not to have any such thing. And by slugs I mean the slimy, slow-moving animal, not the type you try to cheat a soda machine out of it's inventory with. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
