The iPhone (2010-2015, RIP) in my pocket has finally perished and I have to look for a replacement. I am in southern Ontario and have been dealing with Fido mostly problem-free for fifteen years, but I am open to other suggestions. I am all over Canada frequently for work so coverage, it is a thing. Data is less important - my current plan has the lowest possible amount and I think I have exceeded the cap two or three times in five years. [more inside]
I think I lost my Verizon phone. I had the same phone for the past 3 years, and I know that I was due for a new one for the past year. I do not have insurance, not that I know of at least. So, how do I go about replacing this phone? I am so confused... Will I have to pay for the new phone? (I am from another country, so I still do not fully understand how the cell phone stuff works here.)
I broke my smartphone, what should I do? [more inside]
Can you suggest a good, cheap, hopefully easily-available-on-ebay-used T-mobile phone? I don't need a ton of features, but I want something that does all the basic stuff really well. [more inside]
Just finally got my Google Voice account! I have been using Skype for a long time, and now with google voice I am finally ready to get rid of the cell phone all together. BUT, can anyone recommend a good piece of hardware, (The iPod Touch comes to mind) that I can use "like" a cell phone, with minimal tweaking, where wifi is available. A netbook would work, but a little big, can you hook up a mic to any Palm or anything? Thanks everyone.
I don't understand buying an ebay replacement for a busted cell phone. [more inside]
