Help me make bugging people fun!

I send a monthly e-mail to my department at work, reminding everyone to update their records in our project tracking system. I've been trying to make this fun and get everyone's attention by using jokes or funny pictures in my messages. However, I'm running out of ideas! [more inside]

What was this contact reminder program?

A while ago, I came across a handy little program/script, which I think worked roughly like this: you give it a table of various friends' names and how often you want to stay in touch with them, and at appropriate intervals it will give you a "hey, you haven't emailed Jeff in 3 months" type reminder. All-day-event alarms at 11:50 PM are evil.

On my iPod Touch, I use the Calendar app, which is synced to my Google Calendar (which is Google Apps for Education, if that matters.) I like having a reminder/alert for most events that occurs 10 minutes before the event. (It has saved my bacon a couple of times when I forgot an appointment, and I find it useful for keeping me on track during the day.) However, I do not want to hear an alert at 11:50 PM before All-Day events. [more inside]

Where can I find someone to text me?

I need someone to text me every 4-6 hours to keep myself accountable for one very specific, discrete thing. I don't want to ask any of my friends/family to do it. Reminders on my phone are too easy to brush off and ignore. Is there some sort of web service I can sign up for that will hook me up with someone who also needs to be kept accountable, or someone who wants to help?

Help me to not be reminded, please

For windows xp , I have an annoying reminder about a web page being unable to display but no exit box to click onto. I also cannot right click it in the open tabs bar at the bottom to close it manually. It just reads "Reminder Tuesday Sept. 30th 2008 1:07:01 A.M." The date changes as the day does and I dunno how to remove it. I can move it off screen but still.... Any ideas?

Online Calendars

As a follow-up to this question, I'm looking for an online application that will let me set up a calendar and will email me daily reminders of the day's events. I need to do this online, because I move around a lot and am constantly using different PCs (so an Outlook/Eudora/Etc. solution won't work). I would like to be able to get a reminder the night before and one the morning-of. Google suggests there are several such services. Are there any really good ones? Bonus: Has anyone invented one that will phone you or leave your a text message?
