Over the last 6 to 8 months, I've been taking better care of my skin, and the efforts (and, sigh, money) are paying off with fewer blemishes and better texture. The one thing that hasn't been affected, though, is uneven skin tone -- specifically, redness. What can I try next to help even out the redness? More details about my specific skincare routine below the fold. [more inside]
Several times in the past 2 years, my husband has had episodes of skin redness. He also seemed oddly drunk. He's already promised me he'll make an appointment with our doctor about it, but I'm curious what questions he should be asking and what precautions we should take. [more inside]
I have leftover acne redness from 15 or so years ago, and I've finally decided to do something about it. The goal is to make my skin more even-toned and healthier-looking. What methods and/or products - preferably available over-the-counter - would you suggest? Pics of some of the offending areas on my face here, here, and here.
It's been colder than usual here lately (below freezing) and my face is quite red, probably from exposure. I'd like to find a cream I can put on before I go out to protect my face. I have very pale, somewhat sensitive skin that breaks out easily, and is not normally dry. I usually wash my face with Dr. Bronner's once a day and I don't wear makeup. Can you recommend a protective cream that's good for my skin type?

I thought I had mild "papulopustular rosacea." Putting Polysporin on the red bumps helped a lot. Then I took acyclovir for a cold sore and the bumps cleared up completely! None of the online resources on rosacea have indicated acyclovir as a treatment. So what did I have? [more inside]
So, I'm an idiot. I suffer from this sort of neurotic cleanliness that manifests in periods of intense picking of any imperfections on my skin. Now I have to live with the consequences. Looking for holistic or homeopathic remedies for the remaining redness. This is probably gross, so just be warned. [more inside]
I am literally allergic to nice clothes. When I wear collared button down shirts (with a stiff collar), I get red itchiness all around my neck, and if my hands touch it and then my eyes, my eyes start to burn. What am I allergic to? What can I do to stop it? [more inside]

I shaved my face last night in order to buy me some more time this morning, but it seems like I overdid it, and now there are giant red blotches of irritation all over my face and neck. I have a date tonight. Help me to not look like a chump? [more inside]
I fell down while running and abraded my chin. Two weeks later, I have a red circle of healed skin on my chin. It looks silly, and I'd like it to go away faster (similar abrasions on my arms took over a year to disappear, and although I treated my chin better, I'm still worried). [more inside]
