I've been dating this guy for about 2 months, and he is absolutely wonderful. I want to bake him cookies to show my appreciation for him a) in general, and b) for being especially wonderful during a current shitty time in my life due to family issues.

I want to make cookies in the shape of a cat's paw. I'm attending a cookie exchange party and many people have seen photos of my cat
Butters famous for his big feet. I'm hoping to find a cookie recipe that would be around the color of his feet (a buff tan color) which can be shaped into a paw shape. So it would have to be something with dough I can shape by hand. I will use almond slivers for claws. If you have a simple recipe like this it would be great. Thanks! I have most normal cookie making stuff or could buy it.

best-cookie-recipe-ever-filter: I need your best, most impressive, most "wowing" when someone puts it in his/her mouth cookie recipe that you've got. Yes, I know there's a bazillion cookie recipes lurking in this AskMe/Metafilter machine. Which is part of the problem. Taste over looks.

I'm looking for fat-free (or super low-fat, like under a gram per reasonably-sized serving) recipes for baked goods that you've personally made and enjoyed. Cookies, cakes, quick breads, etc. are all fair game. Bonus points for chocolate stuff.

When asked for dessert recommendations, my friend’s 8-year-old son suggested “chocolate chip cookies with chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough in them.” How on earth can I pull off this fantastic treat?

Do you know any easy-to-make cookie (or just dessert) recipes that have no eggs? Bonus points if there are no ingredients that would require a trip to the grocery store (no buttermilk, no special chocolate, no fancy egg-substitute, etc.).

What is wrong with my chocolate chip cookies? I make the recipe off the back of the chocolate chip bag, or from different cookbooks... it doesn't matter. Every time, they spread out too much and get too thin. It isn't pretty. They taste sort of OK, but what might I be missing?
