What book can't you put down?

I'm looking for a really good story--I feel like I'm drowning in books but there's nothing I really want to read. I'm tired of all these 'literary' novels where nothing really happens, or the big best-sellers that are all action and no substance. I don't really care what genre, fiction, nonfiction, anything is fine as long as it really sucks you in. [more inside]
