I've had a mysterious rash for the past 8 months, starting 2 weeks after my first child was born. Two different dermatologists say probably eczema, and I probably just have to live with it. Should I give up and live with it, or try to do something else?

I just returned from a month in a country where Typhoid is common, and I have been feeling really bad for these couple of weeks now, with a sore throat, cough, feverishness, and now lethargy/feelings of severe depression/delirium/confusion for a few days now. Now it looks like I have just developed a rash on my stomach that looks similar to the less-dire images I've seen online. It's been my joke-y diagnosis up until now, but does this rash mean I should go to the ER, or wait until tomorrow and try to see my doctor?

I have had an issue with a bumpy, red, ITCHY rash for the last 7 years when I use certain anti-perspirants/deodorants, and have been changing them up to fix the rash. I am asking for your help because the rash is back, I am clean out of ideas and am holding off the rash only slightly right now. Sorry for the long post, details inside.

I thought I had mild "papulopustular rosacea." Putting Polysporin on the red bumps helped a lot. Then I took acyclovir for a cold sore and the bumps cleared up completely! None of the online resources on rosacea have indicated acyclovir as a treatment. So what did I have?

We bought
this blanket and put it on our bed. We do not use a flat sheet nor do I *ahem* wear pajamas, so the blanket was right next to my skin. Pretty much everywhere the blanket touched for any period of time, but especially on my thighs and upper arms, I broke out in a bumpy rash. It itches a little, but is as unsightly as all get-out. And it's taking forever to fade. I washed and dried the blanket, and that made no noticeable difference. There have been no other notable changes -- laundry detergent, soap, lotions, etc. all the same -- so it seems like the blanket must be the culprit. I know YANMD, and I probably won't even consult with my doctor because really, what is he going to say? What I'm hoping is you'll have some answers or suggestions for me. Could there be some additive that's causing the allergic reaction? Is there anything I can do to the blanket that will Make.It.Stop?

I scraped my wrist eight days ago. The gash itself is healing up alright, albeit a bit slower than I'd like, and it looks like it might scar a little. But the surrounding area is red, blotchy, and bumpy like a rash, and it itches terribly. Should I be concerned?

Sometimes when I drink alcohol I get sort of an allergic reaction: skin rash (red spots on my face and shoulders) that feels a bit itchy. The first time that happened was about 2 years ago (never had that before and I'm 29 now) and now it occurs about every tenth (or so) time I drink hard liquor. It hardly ever occurs with beer or wine and it doesn't seem to be related to a certain ingredient (it happens with vodka as well as with Campari). Plus it doesn't seem to be related to the quantity of alcohol ingested. Maybe the cause is a certain kind of food in combination with alcohol? I haven't done enough "tests" to find out more.
What could that be and need I be worried?

Does my boyfriend's daughter have a rash or an acne flare-up?
Symptoms: Friday morning, a red splotchy rash on shoulders, upper chest. By Friday night and even more so on Saturday morning, rash still there but with addition of what look like tiny whitehead pimples - hundreds (maybe thousands) of them.
No itching, just plenty of embarrassment. Help!

YANAD or maybe your are. I have a mysterious rash / itchy thing going on. Add in that my wife is due with our second child in five days. Two nights ago I woke up several times during the night scratching my pubic area. That morning I put some hydrocortizone on it and thought that was that. Since then, I have been itching all over in random spots.
