What was that music webapp I had on my iPod?

What was that music webapp I had on my iPod? Help me remember the site I had saved to my homescreen a while ago. I'm fairly sure it was a webapp and not a proper app. I seem to remember the name for the icon was shortened to a two-letter acronym; I thought it was DI for digitalinspiration.com but googling that shows I was wrong. I'll try to describe it anyway: the app had a series of square, colourful icons down the left-hand side, not unlike the style to the iTunes gift card drawings. Each icon represented a category; I definately remember 'lounge', and the others were mostly dance/electronic music related genres like house, groove etc. probably hip-hop stuff too. Definately a cool and groovy site.

What can I listen to on xmas that won't make my secular ears wilt?

Looking for Radio Humbug: On every major holiday, but most especially Christmas, I'm annoyed that the radio broadcasts I habitually listen to--mostly NPR, BBC world service--are overtaken by special holiday content, which is usually religious and sappy. Can anyone recommend a radio station to listen to on internet stream on these holidays (talk, not music) that will present news, interviews, documentaries and the like? I could do podcasts, but I much prefer live streaming. Necessarily in English. Most any sort of content or geographic focus would be of interest, so long as there's no shouting, minimal or no religion, no political extremism.

Thank you for the music. That is, if I could hear it.

So, I'm running a shoutcast server. Properly forwarded ports and everything, and people can listen, give the info a look. However, my other DJs can't connect from remote IPs. What's going on? It just disconnects them.

Best baseball radio announcer in the east.

There's something special about listening to a baseball game on the radio, and even though I'm not a huge baseball fan, I'd like to start listening to more games. Since I don't have any particular geographic preference (having lived all over the US), I'm free to choose any team in the east; I live in the mid-Atlantic area but can regularly pull in stations from Chicago, St. Louis, New York, Atlanta, etc. So, which baseball announcer is the best? How do I find an obscure WWII technical manual?

I recently inherited a 1940s era communications receiver from the estate of my great-uncle. It is a Hallicrafters S-39 Sky Ranger, and I want to restore it so it can be used safely again. I was able to find the manual that originally came with it on BAMA (The Boat Anchor Manual Archive), but it was also used by the US Military during WWII, and there is a govt service manual for it. It was an R80 to the military, and the manual is PB48233, but that is as far as I have been able to get. How do I locate someplace that has a copy of this technical manual so I can get a copy made from it?
