I am hoping to finish my phd in science in the next 12 months. Though a tiny, tiny light is beginning to appear at the end of this tunnel, getting to that light is going to be HARD. My endurance has already been severely tested by the first 4.5 years of this degree. It's hard to wrap my mind around how much more endurance and resilience will now be required. Please share any inspirational quotes that might apply here. Thanks!

I am starting a serious workout program and would love to read positive motivational quotes to keep me pumped for this new journey...any ideas where I could find online? I really would love to find motivational quotes that I can place around the house etc for me to read and to keep me on track with my workout get healthy program... is there anything online that would get me this type of info?

Is there a Windows screensaver that animates text of inspirational quotes (allows me to add my own quotes)? Looking for a cool looking screen saver that animates text of quotes that I think are really cool. I'd like to be able to add quotes.

I want a quote to go on my phone case. 2 lines. 21 characters per line. Preferable inspirational, possibly latin. I'm buying a wooden iphone case. On the back, I can put a quote.
2 lines of 21 characters. I'm looking for quotes to make me smile or bring my spirits up; as I look at the case (accidentally) and re-discover the quote.

Inspirational, not religious. Latin (or a translation to latin), I like, as a conversation piece (people will ask what it means.)

Things that I'm thinking of:

My girlfriend needs a quote of needs 25 words or less to summarize her college experience! Hope me to hope her, Mr. A. Metafilter! For background, she's come to a larger city from a medium-sized college/state-office town to attend a all-women's liberal arts college and enjoy a classically Romantic undergraduate experience, while double-majoring in History and English. She rides horses (eventing), loves literature of all types, and generally appreciates The Good Life of wine, food, and song while still being a not-so-closeted sci-fi/fantasy nerd. Politically liberal and very conservation-minded, as well.

She's having a lot of trouble in her search for a quote to put in her yearbook - something ranging from witty (think Wilde) to "inspirational" without being too sappy. Not necessarily something that summarizes a college experience, but worth associating with same.
