Professors with interesting, quirky websites?

It seems like there's this trend for (usually senior) professors to have a website (usually completely devoid of any CSS) filled with advice to juniors, strong opinions, and notes on very specific topics. Do you know of any? [more inside]

Planning and Atlanta wedding. Well...trying to

Another wedding question... So, newly engaged, which is awesome, but now that we've started trying to plan it, I feel so incredibly overwhelmed...and not in a good way. The first thing we need to do is figure out where. We have a budget of $5000 max, and every place I have researched or contacted has been at minimum $2000-$3000, and 90% of these would force us to use their own caterers and vendors. We are ready to try something nonstandard, but I have never even been to a wedding before, so...we am having problems coming up with ideas for a small wedding and reception of like 50 people max. Känn ingen sorg för oss Stockholm

My wife and I will be in Stockholm for a few days in June, staying with some friends in Kungsholmen before traveling the countryside with them by car. Nights we'll be with them, but we'll have some time in the days to explore Stockholm on our own. We have guidebooks to find all the major attractions, etc.--but hoped you could give some advice on fun places to go, or things to see, street kiosks to buy lunch, etc. that don't make it into guidebooks. Quirky is a plus! [more inside]

Where to eat in London - off the beaten path.

Where should we go to eat in London? We are interested in experiencing something different/quirky and not outrageously expensive but we don't need to cheap out either. I suspect this trip would be much easier if we were going to New Mexico instead.

I'm heading to Arizona for 3-4 days of unfettered roaming with my boyfriend. We are a strange pair of humans, and up for anything that sounds interesting. We're renting a car, and don't mind driving ridiculous distances for a small payoff. We'll need to find 3 places to sleep during the course of this little trip, as well. Any ideas, the more outlandish the better? We almost never get to travel together, so here's hoping for some strange fun if we can get it! [more inside]

This is so bad it's gone past good and back to bad again.

Idiosyncratic movies filter. I've realized that I tend to like movies in a certain niche that you might call "uncategorizable," and I'm looking for your recommendations for more of these movies to see. It's hard to say they're all in the same genre (since some of them are quite different from the others), but it's also hard to say which genres they do belong to. In addition, there are several of these movies that I found very disappointing even though I would have expected to like because they seem to be "my kind of movie." Lots (!) of examples and elaboration inside. [more inside]

Suggest books that push the envelope of "self-help"?

Can you suggest books that push the envelope of "self-help"? I record books for a library-owned radio station for the blind and visually impaired. One of our genres is Self-Help. Help me come up with quirky ideas for improbable porn flicks!

I am thinking of making some quirky, amateur porn that straddles the borderline between porn and art. My first flick is going to be a half-hour of this naked girl giving herself hickeys all over her body - wherever her mouth can reach. Help me brainstorm other ideas for porn you always wanted to see, but was never available. Outlandish porn that should be made, but would never be economically viable. Improbable porn that wouldn't necessarily get you off, but is sexy to know it exists.
