We are a retail business, ~10 employees, multiple locations of inventory and some drop-ships. I am looking at both Quickbooks Enterprise and something from the Sage 50 family but can't find anything online that provides a good comparison. Anyone use both? Opinions?

How to quickbooks? I'm computer and internet literate, can add/subtract/multiply/divide (usually with a calculator, just to be sure) and I think I understand how to double entry bookkeep. I have a copy of Quickbooks 2012 for Mac that I just put up for sale on ebay. (The program just wasn't for me.)
I am getting a number of inquiries from interested bidders about the transfer of the license of the software.
I do not recall if I ever officially registered the software after i installed it or not. I played around with it for a little bit and decided it wasn't for me. I uninstalled the software and it has sat in a box until I put it up today.
How do I go about ensuring that the software and license have my info removed so that the winning bidder can install it on their computer with little to no hassle?
The Intuit/Quickbooks website offers a lot of contradictory information.

Before I begin, I know the most popular and reasonable answer will be to learn and use Quickbooks. There is some sort of 'block' in my brain that will not allow me to learn quickbooks and I am content in using a different software to do the simple things I am needing to do...

My friend has a small taxi business that uses Quickbooks. He has a primary computer that he and his dispatchers use when he is not there. He's having problems with his dispatchers downloading spyware/viruses, etc. I help him out with IT needs and suggested having a restricted account for his dispatchers. The problem is that QBs requires admin access to run. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this? The computer is running WindowsXP Pro.

I use Quicken, Quickbooks, and Bank of America. Right now they are working like a champ, but Bank of America has announced that they're pulling support for 2006 versions of both Quicken and Quickbooks. Normally this would be OK; I'm thrifty, but not so much so that I'd complain about $150 every three years. The problem is that all the versions to upgrade to have lots of problems; what to do? I've been struggling to find accounting software, online or PC/Mac based (either will do) that is suitable for a computer consulting practice. I need to be able to handle the typical basic things done by QuickBooks, like invoicing and estimates, simple A/R and A/P reports, etc. But that isn't enough. I need to manage multiple bill rates on a per consultant/per customer/per job or work order basis. QuickBooks doesn't do that, and I've tried hard to find out how to make that work. Any advice, hive mind?

Is there a third-party program that allows me to create custom receipt & tag templates for use with QuickBooks Point of Sale Pro 5.0? The default Print Designer that comes with the software is very limited. I need to be able to add multiple fields to my invoice and barcode tags.
