What are my options in Toronto for a steady entry-level job that I could start within a week? A line of work where they are always looking for new people and are willing to try you out without a lengthy application and interview process.

Simple question this time around!
I’m searching for a quick, unique and especially delicious dinner in New York around The IFC Center.
The theater is located just off the A train’s West 4th stop in the village just blocks away from Washington Square Park, near parts of Bleeker street. We’ll have less than an hour before the film starts and want to try something tasty and unique. Also, cheap-ish is a plus!

Okay, I'm looking for websites or books that have recipes that are 20-30 minutes and have calorie information. I found a lot of quick recipe books but they often don't have calorie information. Looking for recommendations.

I recently came across this awesomeness of
a Daal recipe. It blew me away, not only with its amazing flavor, but the fact that you actually don't have to cook. I mean you chop one onion, dump all the ingredients in and less than 30 minutes later, you have an amazing meal. Which immediately made me wonder, are there any other awesomely tasty recipes out there which I could add to my repertoire of fast and easy?

I read an article a couple of years ago, I think it was written by Larry McMurtry, about the myth of the quick draw. Essentially the writer said that no one in their right mind would approach an enemy with their weapon holstered and the quick draw is a myth of Western fiction. I've done some searching of databases and online and I can't find the dang thing.

just an apostrophe as opposed to apostrophe then "s". But how?

Steamed Rice with what? I'd like to use my rice cooker more often. I'm looking for recipes that take five to ten minutes that I can add / pour over / serve next to my steamed rice. Bonus: What are some things I can add to the rice cooker as the rice is being cooked to make it a one pot meal?

Cooking for the lazy and overworked. I eat a lot of overpriced crap lately - think boxed/frozen/microwaveable, or even just takeout - and for a number of obvious reasons I'd like to stop doing that. I think most of America is in the same boat with me, but can those of you who aren't give me some tips on learning to cook for myself?
