Personal recommendations for pug breeders in California? We are looking to add a pug puppy to our family (currently have one 5 year old female), and are having a heck of a time finding a breeder online. Someone I know wants to get a dog, more specifically a Pug. We've looked online at breeders, but the dogs cost more than $900, is there a place I should be looking, animal shelters, rescue societies? And if the pug is through a breeder, how do I know the breeder is reputable? I wouldn't want to spend more than several hundred dollars.
