Help me find web ressources, preferably in the form of podcasts, on sub-categories or specifics in psychology / personnal development. I am curious about NLP, transactional analysis, the systemic approach, psychodynamic theories, self-hypnosis, and the like. I'd like to keep it as practical as possible, although I wouldn't mind it if more "esoteric" approaches were included, such as jungian theories.

American perspective. As such, I'm curious: What are some major features of psychotherapy in countries other than the United States?

Freud and his followers have been thoroughly discredited for quite a while now. Our scientific understanding of the brain has grown by leaps and bounds since their heyday, and we now have treatment methods that are cheaper, quicker, and more effective than anything psychoanalysis had to offer. So why is psychoanalysis still practiced?
