Mirroring the display on an iMac running windows

For a new iMac running Windows XP, I need to mirror/clone the display so it shows the same on the monitor and a projector. The graphics driver (for an ATI Mobiity Radeon HD 2600XT) doesn't support mirroring, but the iMac does it automatically. But the monitor and the projector have very different aspect ratios, and the same screen size gets applied to both. Is there a way to set two different screen sizes? There's nothing under the display preferences. Any third party software that would work?

How to have computer automatically change primary and secondary display settings once projector is plugged in?

I need help with using a projector as a secondary display. I would like the computer to be able to recognize when the projector has been plugged in and automatically set the projector as the primary display without having to fiddle with the settings. Is there software or some trick that will do this? I have pvr software on a laptop and use it to watch tv through a projector when I come home. The only problem is that the laptop is used by my wife and I end up having to plug the projector back in and changing the display settings. Is there software that will automatically change the display settings to a certain "profile" once it recognizes that an external secondary display has been plugged into the computer?

How to display my Mac .ppt on a PC-friendly projector?

Is there a way to switch the display on my Mac G4 to an external projector? I have an A/V port adapter that plugs into a serial port on a video projector that I often use. Unfortunately once everything is plugged in, the video won't be displayed out the projector.
On PCs I understand there's a display output option (where you can swap between "computer screen" and "external device") under the control panels, but I don't think I've found an appropriate equivalent on my comp.
What's frustrating is that a colleague's Mac works (though his was bought in Taiwan, mine in the US)

Vid problems on LCD projector

The school where I teach recently purchased a LCD projector and I'm having some trouble getting it to play video... [mi] It's a Hitachi cp-x328 and it seems to be working fine, until i try to play a video file (ie: avi, .mpg, vts type files) in windows media player or powerdvd. quicktime converts/plays the aforementioned files fine (vts, of course being the exception). but wmp and powerdvd just show a blank screen on the projector image, despite the fact that the laptop dispaly is showing the playback fine. all the other desktop features are still visible on the projector's display, but the video window is just black. the children will not accept this.

both the laptop and the projector are set to 60hz. the projector's set to auto select the video input type, but even when i manually switch to ntsc i still get no video playback. however, the projector's picking up the audio signal fine. what am i missing? the problem seems like it should be simple enough to solve, but i'm stumped.
