What time/project management software or sites might be able to help me view my week in hourly clumps and allow me to check off completed tasks or monitor their success? I've tried a number of GTD services, but none of them has been quite right, so I'm looking for suggestions. [more inside]

Project Managers! What software / systems do you use to manage your projects. It seems to me that Microsoft Project or Basecamp is not always the right tool for the job. I am interested in creating work breakdown structures and sequencing activities in a visual manner. I want to track and manage requirements, changes, risks, issues, etc. I want to baseline my requirements, my schedule, and my budget. I want to capture work activity and generate reports. What software should I be using to be a superstar project manager? What is your system for capturing and disseminating information?

We currently develop and support a large custom software application for a single client. We're approaching a situation where we want to spin that application off into a product that we implement for many clients. Each implementation will be highly customized and, for the near future, we'll only be doing a handful of them (less than 5). Can anyone recommend any relevant reading material (books, articles) for the transition? [more inside]
