My best friend is getting married in June and I'm a bridesmaid.
I've offered to put together a guestbook for the couple as part of the big day. I've heard of so many creative ideas - books with photos, framed signed photos, puzzles, etc., but some of them seem impractical. I want this to be something they can potentially display in their home as a reminder of the ceremony.
I need ideas, links, personal anecdotes (what made your guestbook special?), to help me put together the best guest book for a lovely couple! It can be DIY or for purchase.

Two years ago I started doing stand-up comedy, which took me very far from my comfort zone and was hard work but was hugely rewarding. These were both huge things for me. I want to begin something similarly big/difficult/scary/rewarding/exciting/life-affirming this year that will live up to those first 2 years, but what? I Know some C++ and Python, but I don't know enough about algorithms to really implement the project, a fairly simple web app, I have in mind. So I'm wondering if it's possible to divide the problem up appropriately, write good app specs, then use Rent a Coder or a similar service for the hard stuff. [more inside]

My group and I are looking for a creative project title. The project is for a design class. Our idea is to have a locker where people put their keys before a night of drinking, and in order to get the keys back, they must blow into a breathalyzer to prove their ability to drive. [more inside]
