For basically my whole teen-to-adult life I have wanted to write AI for video games as a hobby. Mostly games of the overhead strategy type, think Red Alert, Warcraft (not World Of), Starcraft and so forth.

OK, so I figured out, through lots of painful browsing of MSDN, how to make windows (partially) transparent, and also how to chroma-key windows. And it works great, but only in windows 2000. In windows XP it works only in certain cirumstances. Need windows programmer to help me...

I have found programs that allow you to apply partial transparency to a window (in windows), but I'm looking for something a little different: chroma keyed transparency, like what is used in visual effects or on the weather report.
