Producing DVDs in New York

I'm in Brazil and I need produce 3,000 copies of a educational DVD to be distributed/sold at an exhibition in New York. We would provide the master DVD and cover art and we need the 3,000 copies burned, packaged and delivered to a New York address by the beginning of April 2008. My guess is that it would be cheaper to have it done locally (in or near New York) but at this moment it is only a guess. Which companies would you recommend for this sort of job and what kind of prices and deadlines I should expect?

Yes, I'm a woman in "sensible shoes"

I recently started an office job which requires me to dress somewhat professionally (no jeans, but generally pretty relaxed overall). I am a young woman of 24 who likes to dress comfortably but would like to look a little better. What are some sources for nice-looking, comfortable clothes that won't break the bank, and a few specific pieces? [more inside]

Modeling Airflow

I am preparing a course on Computer Aided Environmental Design for architects and other professionals, and am planning to make extensive use of Ecotect, a package which allows one model and study the solar, light, thermal and acoustic behavior of a building. To round it out, I would like to be able to study ventilation and airflow as well. Is there any easy-to-use (for an architect, not an engineer) software in the vein of Ecotect which will allow basic modeling of ventilation or airflow on a standard PC?

Web Design Critique

A site I designed was recently described as "competent but uninspired," while this stung, it matches what I feel about it. My question to the community: are any designers here willing to take a look and offer me some constructive criticism? I'd really appreciate it, as this site is for an artist friend and I'd like the design to be both professional and "inspired" without obscuring the art. [Link Inside] [more inside]
