I'm highly skeptical of a lot of brands that trumpet their environmental friendliness. I know "
greenwashing" is rampant. What are some green brands/products that walk the walk?

Around 4-5 years ago, I attended the Natural Products Expo and received a sample of a product called Aaah Toilet Paper Moistener (
photos). The company now has a dead website. Googling has revealed people making fun of their infomercial and reviews circa 2008, but no current product info. Where can I get some more of this stuff or some other toilet-paper-moistening *foam*?

I discovered
Crystal deodorant a few months ago. I had tried literally every other unscented deodorant on the market and could not find one that held up all day. It turns out that the damned rock you rub on your pits is the greatest deodorant ever, and it had been on the shelf the whole time.
What other miracle products are sitting on the shelves at the market, unnoticed as I pass them by in favor of products that are more well known or have bigger advertising budgets?

I have coarse shoulder length hair that I blow dry and use med heat of straight iron to smooth, but it especially gets frizzy in humid weather. I use a straight iron and hair products to smooth it. When I go to beauty shop the beautician uses a 400 degree straight iron that gets it super smooth and straight, however I don't want to damage my hair using high temp on it daily. I have used these products on my hair to try to achieve smoothness: John Frieda Luminouscolor Glaze Clear Shine, Matrix Sleek Look Blow Down Extreme Creme, Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum, Aveeno Nourish & Style Soft Hold Gel Creme. Would a pomade help achieve this?
I really like Heidi Klum's current hair style, and my could look like it if I could get it as smooth as she gets hers

Are there any good open source product viewers?
I'm trying to build a very simple site with that has a products section. I'd like to display a few views for each product, and the tools I've found so far are
magic zoom and Magneto, but both cost a bit.
I'm not opposed to paying, if these are the best, but given how many lightbox clones there are, I can't believe there isn't something opensource and better. Has anybody used these tools, or found better alternatives?

I have long, fine, mostly straight (female) hair that becomes dry, limp and majorly staticky during East Coast winters. My normal hair routine involves moisturizing shampoo, conditioner at the tips, volumizing mousse when my hair is wet, and blow drying upside down with a bristly brush. Sometimes I use some light hairspray to keep it in place. Initially it looks and feels great. But by the end of the day, it is totally dead and full of static. I keep a dryer sheet in my bag to smooth out the static throughout the day but this isn't much of a long-term solution and it doesn't fix the limpness. Advise me please? Any product suggestions? Thanks in advance!

How many commercial products can you think of that are named after Native American groups or other indigenous peoples?
The best I can do are: Jeep Cherokee, Pontiac cars, and, um...Eskimo pies. But there must be more, right? Note: I'm NOT looking for products which use Native American or indigenous peoples'
imagery in their marketing (like American Spirit cigarettes), or sports franchises. How many can you come up with?
