I have a friend who has become totally reliant on an e-mail account, which was provided by an internet service provider which she has just left to go to a new ISP. She uses Outlook 2003 as her e-mail client program. Unfortunately, she is now finding that after moving to this new ISP that although she can receive e-mails absolutely fine, she cannot send e-mails.

Help! Why is my Gmail, accessed through my Macbook's Mail application, occasionally not sending emails, even though they're listed as "sent"?

My clients emails from their Blackberry always end up in my email providers spam quarantine with the text of the mail garbled. Their "from address" comes through on the headers as From: "=?utf-8?B?SmVzc2UgUmFiaW5vd2l0eg==?=". My email provider says my client needs to fix that. My client thinks that they don't have a problem. Is this the way that blackberry emails normally identify themselves in email headers or is my clients set up faulty?

The problem: I'm subscribed to 20-30 high volume mailing lists (e.g., Ubuntu, Python) and the gmail account I'm using is now 80% full! I subscribed to them to ask a question once in a while, but I really have no interest in following every post to the lists. My question is how do others handle this situation? Is there a solution to mailing lists that I'm missing?

We keep getting kicked out of Yahoo mail (asking us to log back in again). We've set it to "ask every 24 hours"; we accept cookies. We've cleared cookies. We remain logged into other cookie-lovin' sites (i.e., Amazon). This happens in IE and Firefox. This happens on three different computers. What gives?
