I used tetracycline for a year and a half for acne. I had no negative side effects.
On April 14th I started to have abdomen pain, loose stools, diahrea, gas, and stomach gurgling.
On April 18th I went to a walk in clinic and they told me that I should stop taking the tetracycline because I've been on it for too long and it can negatively effect my gut flora.
I had a stool sample, blood test and ultrasound done and they all came back negative.
I went to my family doctor April 29th and he said that I am suffering from IBS and said to take a PPI and a anti-depressant. He also said it was unlikely that the tetracycline could cause my stomach problems. I took the PPI and it didn't help. I do not want to take the anti-depressant.
I visited my dermatologist this week and he said I should continue taking the tetracycline and that stomach problems can be related to stress.
My stomach is still bothering me and I have diahrea in the early morning and I'm taking imodium to stop that.
I am visiting my girlfriend in Europe in 2 weeks and I hope my stomach problems don't negatively effect my trip.
Does anyone know if using Antibiotics could cause stomach issues like this.
I am upset at myself for taking the Tetracycline for so long. But my dermatologist told me it was safe.
I hope this will pass and not be a lifelong syndrome.

I'll try to make this short. I am at my breaking point. My girlfriend of a year and a half or so is definitely bipolar, I would say without a doubt that it could be severe. I wasn't sure for some time, but now I am certain, after simply looking at the symptoms I can tell she has some sort of bipolar disorder -- even down to being falsely diagnosed with depression I think (maybe she was depressed too, but this is besides the point).

I dropped off my computer to be repaired because it kept powering off randomly, and often before windows could even start booting. They told me it was a faulty power supply, which they replaced.
I received a call about fifteen minutes after I got home from a tech there telling me that they forgot to plug my DVD drive into the power supply, and that I can bring it back and have them fix it.
When I ran it at home, I noticed google chrome was missing. Another one of my programs doesn't work now, telling me that "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." 3-4 other programs that I've picked at random and tried to run work fine.

When I start my computer, it loads to a blank screen and freezes. It has to be restarted anywhere from 2-20 times before it finally boots up. It has been F-Disked and still does this.
What could be causing this and what could I do about it? It's a PC running Windows Vista. I've had it 3 years and it's done this the whole time I've had it. Thank you!

Is there a somewhat simple solution to this problem? We recently installed new wireless Internet at home but my laptop (older Toshiba Satellite) refuses to connect to the net. It will automatically find our network and connect to it, but doesn't go that step further to actually connect to the Internet. This only happens with the wireless at home - it works fine with other networks I've tried out. Is my computer just not recognizing the new modem?

So I've had this problem since I built my computer a few months ago, it is completely sporadic and seemingly random. Sometimes my computer won't freeze for days, other times shortly after start up.
When it freezes everything stops, the keyboard and mouse are unresponsive (no Ctrl-alt-del etc.) and if sound is playing there is a sort of "glitch" then silence. I don't know yet whether this is hardware related or software related.
The other problem (separate then the freezing) I've been having on startup:
I can't use it normally at all, because when I start a program like firefox or anything it else it freezes and I have to hard restart every time, or I have to wait 30 minutes and then firefox or other programs will start. Or the other issue arises where no programs will start and I'm forced to hard restart again. I can only run it working in safemode with networking, which prevents me from doing what I built it for, gaming and videos etc. Running chkdsk /r fixes this problem, but it sometimes returns. This is a secondary problem unrelated to the first.

I'm asking this to try to help my niece who has her busy hands full taking care of Altzheimer's mom and her own sick husband. Their one year old "Cav-a-poo" is way more doggie than she bargained for.
They love him very much but he is just so difficult to manage. He's destroyed part of her sofa, and even chewed the baseboards off the wall.
They didn't want to crate him but are forced to do so as he's so wild. She's had the home coach which was pretty good re: barking but the chewing is just crazy.
They have all the non destructible chew toys, tried tobasco sauce, spray water bottle, clicker, etc. '
He has a big fenced yard but only likes to go out when someone stays with him. He is walked several times a day. One thing is he is much bigger than the breeder said he would be. Instead of 15 lbs he is more like 25. She's had to give up sleeping in her bed as he cries all night in the crate and it disturbs her husband who needs his sleep. She lies on the couch together with the pup and then has to be up and out of the house by 6 AM to go to work.
I'm trying to help her find a way to a more peaceful life including Mr Chewy, of course, and would appreciate any helpful suggestions.
