We'll be moving into a rental office on a short-term (14-24 month) basis and we need to print new stationery. We only use about 125 envelopes a year (in two sizes: letter and card) and the minimum order quantity from local printers is 500 pieces. We've thought of printing envelopes with a logo and no return address and using a stamp or stickers to apply a return address, but the results have been tacky. With the move, we've ended up with hundreds of excess envelopes from previous addresses. Is there a way we can solve this with something that looks good and doesn't cost a fortune? All suggestions appreciated!

I'm designing my sister's album cover for her, and I would like some tips from people with experience in print design. I've used photoshop for quite a few years, and I'm OK at using it, but have never had to print anything professionally. What I am doing for her is going to take some time and I don't want to finish and then find I have done some small thing wrong and have to start again! Advice for doing this? What to do? What not to do? Thanks...

Reasonably priced with great customer service por favor. Also, I'm a designer and the photos are going to be fantastic so I want to make sure the quality's great. Yeah, I'm demanding, I know. :) Any recommendations?

Can you help me with this HTML print-sizing problem? I have a 3x5 index card created in Word. When I convert it to PDF, it prints out full size, as in Word. But when I convert to HTML, either from Word or from the PDF, and then print the HTML page, it scales down. Is there a way to make it print full-size in HTML?

I can't find a professional printer in the Chattanooga area who can print a flyer done on a Mac, in Pages. What are my options? I really have no way to do this flyer, other than on a Mac, and I made this flyer for someone who lives in Chattanooga TN, and has been unable to find a printer who has a Mac. Is there a way to convert this POS to PDF or something equally stupid and pedestrian?
You have digital pictures that are cropped to various rectangular dimensions, but you want to print each of them on 4"x6" paper without losing any of the image. Of course any that are not a 4x6-ratio image - that's most of them - will need to have some white letterboxing. Can any of the standard consumer on-line photo printing services do this automatically, as a batch request? Just print whatever I upload, but fit each one entirely on 4"x6" paper? Shutterfly and Snapfish customer service (for example) said I'd have to go in and adjust the cropping for each picture individually.

I'm looking for a way to make very occasional photo prints, color and b&w, in the 8x10 and 11x14 range. I've looked at buying a printer and concluded that's not cost effective for my needs. Ideally, I'd like to send a Photoshop file to someone and then drive by to pick up the prints or have them ship the prints to me. Are any of the online services any good? If so, who is the best? What about places like Costco and Kinkos? I've found a few old threads here on this subject, so I suspect things have changed. I'm looking for better than drugstore/Walmart/Target quality.

What's the options for POD printing in the UK? I want to setup a small poetry press and successfully used CreateSpace in the US for a previous book, but they don't sell in the UK. I know of things like Lulu, but are there companies that will do short-order runs (i.e. 50-100 books) if I give them an appropriately-formatted PDF?
How can I print 34 lines of text so that it takes up exactly 6.125 inches? Or equivalently, so that each line is .18 inches. I tried different fonts in various word processors but always ended up a little to large or too small. There's probably an obvious way to do this using some easily available software (preferably free) but I can't seem to figure out what it is.
